I do not know if this is the proper place for suggestions for I am sorry in advance if it is not. Anyways it seems to me and if you look at many threads on many sites(to others) that the mentioned above Empowered Scholar is way to difficult for that stage in the new DLC where you encounter him. Even on NORMAL mode he is insanely hard esp. compared to bosses you fight AFTER him. I did manage to beat him just ONCE but having missed a pick up (a gauge present) I have to fight him again and now he seems even HARDER then before! Seriously Please Nerf!

Hated this boss fight; The constant Immunity Phases with bosses sucks the fun out of boss fights for me.
It feels so lazy to just give enemies and bosses immunity to damage.

It was tough but fair in my opinion. I’m normally averse to platforming in first person games but this fight had big enough platforms to work for me.
I also believe there’s more than one way to deal with this boss’s immunity phases. You can ride one platform all the way around shooting out the crystals, you can jump to the tower as long as you watch your step and don’t touch the boss, and I’m pretty sure you can move around and snipe from the main level as well.
Also an Anarchy shotgun helps with his bullet spongeyness. I was lucky one dropped for me right before that fight.
