Again, that’s not how it works.

One word, paranoia.

The fact is - there is a lot of reasons that EGS version will be abandoned faster than Steam version. Some of them just assumptions, based on other examples, that is true. But there is no way steam version could be abandoned at all with such a huge community.

When people start to talk about “abonding game by developer” before it’s even out…

2K abandoned BL1 everywhere. No SHIFT integration. Only remastered as separate game.
2K abandoned BL2 on ps3/xbox360 and partly on pc for some region with huge playerbase.
2K abandoned BL TPS by cancelling new dlcs due to average everything.

Absolutley no reasons to worry about BL3.

You draw some of the most bizarre percieved correlations I’ve ever seen.

Right. Time to read the forum rules, folks.

And cut out the personal anguish, please.

@Pavlissimus Is not entirely wrong though. The assumption that steam will be more popular than Epic, is quite obvious and true.

But just because Epic’s playerbase will be inferior, must not mean that one is being treated better than the other. Afterall, Epic was the initial money giver and I am sure they will attempt to keep a good relation with them even after the 6 months contract.

I am certain, that both version will get supported, as not everyone is willing to buy the game 2 times and there are people who prefer the Epic Store.

我可以和你玩

Epic万岁

Given Steam was automatically supporting Metro when it launched, and showed up automatically on my Steam after I installed it. I think Steam is ahead of the game enough, that they will support it WAAAY before it launches on their platform, if not already next Friday

I’ve booked on Epic that I can play in the dark together.

As a homeless enthusiast, it doesn’t matter which platform I support this game silently. Simply speaking, I like it!

Hi, you can linked you steam account to Epic and play with your friends, anyway server is hosted by Gearbox I remember the terrible laggy sometimes on steam playing Borderlands 2.

Cheers,

@nivekr Does this mean, I could play it via Steam even if I have purchased it on Epic ?

It’s not clear that I bought the game in Epic.

You can add any installed game to Steam - Metro Exodus automatically showed up in my Library, now, that may be because Steam implemented it before it went exclusive. BUT I would not be surprised at all if BL3 is also auto detected.

Steam doesn’t make long posts with roadmaps or waste time on twitter with back and forth silliness, they just do it and implement it.

yes, you can add ANY game to Steam - > Games >Add non Steam game to my Library
