Eridian takedown bugged or overtuned?

This doesn’t sound fun. Can anyone explain how GB lowers health/shield/armor modifiers but somehow screws up the scaling even worse? I thought maybe it would be too easy but sounds like it’s much worse. I’m sure one of those new buffed ten gallons is all you need…

There is a head, skin and echo theme.

M10 Takedown Enemy’s health settings are clearly wrong.
I think even normal has three times the health value of True Mariwan Takedown.
If it’s a co-op premise set up, I’d agree.
I can’t imagine that would be much fun.

And did you guys see that the drops are not great either. Moxsy showed off the new assault rifle and it is complete garbage. The new smg smog is very situational and I don’t think it will replace any meta weapons. There really doesn’t seem to be a point to running this takedown at all besides saying that you did it. Not even any new class mods as far as I know.

I play Amara and I had to turn MM down to 4. Made it to the final boss, was fighting it for ten minutes, got it down to the blue health bar then it kicked me off the platform and I had to start over. I’ll just go back to waiting for the next DLC.

So my brother and I tried this on Mayhem 10 duo. Mind you I have a Good Moze with great gear, mod, artifact. Didn’t even use her because of the yellowcake nerf and haven’t found a perfect Fire Monarch with Rad Anoint. We tried as a Duo though with my Beast + his Amara. The scaling is completely borked here. Regular mobs are dying slower then Killavolt farming @ Mayhem 10. Couldn’t even get past the area past the Crystals and we have pretty optimal builds. So once again I am going back to not playing this game. Only buffing SMG’s is really laughable since shotguns, pistols, most AR’s, etc just blow. Even some Rocket Launcher really can’t do much in there. Until this developer gets their balancing act together I am going back to playing Smash bros, The Witcher 3, and other games between my pc, switch, and PS4 until DLC. This is absolutely ridiculous that I payed money for this and it’s pretty unplayable for any end game content. This time needs to take more time with balancing if they ever want to keep a good player base.

Yea I mean you CAN NOT FORCE a game to be fun for you :confused: I was hoping this update would be good and I would be reinvigorated after taking literally over a month off since mayhem 2.0 was just awful, but I came back even more hostile toward the game than I was previously. The game just isn’t fun for me so I already started something new. I’ll play the DLC’s when they come out and see if anything has improved but I’m over BL3 :frowning:

I found if I stay with the crystal until the “wall” rises up, then I run to the next. Seems to work.

I found it annoying that was something the developer thought was important and fun.

Sliding, slamming.

Look, most folks seem not to have cared for TPS’s butt-slam, so carrying that forward to BL3 seemed like a bad idea. Luckily we only need it once or twice.

Sliding is only ever really used because slide speed buffs make it the fastest way to get around where you can’t drive.

So uh … someone at GBX was like “■■■■ IT! We’re gonna double down on this ■■■■! ■■■■ play testing, get your asses to work buffing those terrible anointments!”

Or what the ■■■■ was that all about? Like, no one, absolutely not one ■■■■■■■ human being who has played this game, asked for that ■■■■■■■■.

First off I’m glad I’m not the only one who noticed it. My Zane has amazing gear and your typical build. Doing it solo I couldn’t get passed the first room. I can easily do True Maliwan Takedown. These mobs are too healthy. Damn…and I was so excited to finally go through and see all of it but there is no way I’m dropping the MM just to complete it so I will just wait till they adjust it.

Right? Like, it’s not that M10 is too tough. I can do Maliwan Takedown on M10. It’s not pleasant, but I can. With the right build, I don’t even need to abuse a 300/90 Yellowcake.

Get dropped in the first room in Guardian Takedown, even a x2 300/90 Yellowcake can’t kill a single trash mob enemy to get me up?

…has anyone tried to butt slam the crystal platform to see if that charges the crystals faster?

Going to be honest and admit I like the idea of sliding annointment dmg buff. In a hypothetical world where it was a big enough boost over the usual suspects in conjunction with a coachgun or rapid fire shotgun. Spamming slide with most guns is obnoxious, but real cqc mag dumpers fit the concept in a fun way.

Obviously balance currently doesn’t encourage that, but the idea of sliding for spike damage from the right shotgun is cool to me. Especially for Zane. If it were reasonable I would 100% pack a slide dmg shotty on him.

The accuracy and handling when sliding on the other hand is conceptually… Words can’t describe that.
