Ernest Egg's Weirdness

Been using Ernest almost exclusively since he hatched.

Question:

Has anyone noticed how Ernest’s eggs will look weirdly distorted, like kinda melty, like the egg is kind of freaking out and losing it’s shape?

Usually (maybe always?) in times of heavy combat.

A couple targeted to the egg L2 clicks will usually make it look “normal” again but Attack and defence mode definitely don’t seem to work very efficiently when it is in that state.

Do the eggs overheat or something in times of heavy combat use?

I’d noticed the egg seeming to jump and bounce but I thought it was the AOE damage helix I had on it

It is the AoE helix that does that.

As to the other thing it’s probably a graphics glitch.
