Events are a curse on this game

I have to agree, stability and balance needed to be addressed before any additional content was put out. We paid $60-$100 for a game we could actually play, not to beta test in perpetuity. Limited time loot only has a limited shelf life before they tweek something else, either by changing mechanics, raising the level cap again, or throwing in more mayhem modifiers that nerf or nullify that “OP” damage on higher Mayhem play.

Yeah, last borderlands show was quite interesting to say the least when Mitzu take word for us all and told we would even pay for cartels being an all-time thing.

I highly disagree with that.
Cartels was free to begin with, i would appreciate it being in the base game so it would be a great compromise and a way to actually give us more End Game Content!

Content this game so desperately needs.
They fixed Wotan finally so now that’s a thing!
I like him as a challenge but without reward for about 1 month now it wasn’t worthy to farm him at all.
But what’s apart from the Slaughters, Takedowns and Proving Grounds.
This game lacks a certain drive to explore and I think this is one of the biggest problems.

I felt exploration in this game was kinda wasted time in some ways, apart from the easter eggs.
Kinda expected way more.
I mean in Borderlands 2 you had a cave under pandora and in there you were able to find a bunch of neat things. Like a Minecraft esk room with unique weapons that could only be found there.
I could talk about this all day tho the thing is BL3 even capable to get there at all?
Maybe. But therefore I think they need to support this game more than Borderlands 2 in the past.

When I look at this game I have mixed feelings.
Don’t get me wrong I’m curious, playing all the new content.
The question that gets me thinking is will this be enough?

When the last DLC and the last level cap has come will i ever come back like i did with BL1 and BL2. I hope.
Give us reasons to celebrate this game Gearbox, Devs.
What drives you into this game. What do you enjoy doing for eternities is there even something in this game that gets you that deeply engaged with it you want to soak in the whole universe in.

It is what it is not much we can do friend but offer some feedback and hope gbx gets it right but, look on the brightside no matter how much gbx messes up this game you will always be able to go back and play the previous entries in the series and they still hold strong even to this day.

Yes i mean its not that bad but yk BL1 and 2 get old at some points even tho the replay ability is high.

Idk man its games in general i must say. When i look back at old games i mean games so old there was no day one or hell even day 365 patch.
These were thought out products.

The games that get released today don’t feel like finished products. People waited 7 years for this sequel. I think nobody would have been angry about 1 more year of wait.

There would be so much possible, workbench system, skilltree preloads / build preloads, bosses spawning without having to quit, and so on.

Its not like they have to invent a rocket and fly onto mars or something.
Many of this systems exist and it would be an easy one to adept those.
For sure im aware that they switched the engine in the middle of the production but then again i would have been happy to wait.

Funny fact stays. BL2´s main villain and its big company reflects very well into the reality of this company. This is such a phrase.
If they did this on purpose this is IQ beyond EXPLOSIONS!
