By far the most noticeable tearing for me occurs in TPS as opposed to BL2. As far as whether it occurs more in single-player or co-op, I haven’t played it in so long, I don’t remember for sure, but I believe it seemed worse in single-player.

1 I experience only on Borderlands 2 and not TPS. It’s such a pain, that I just turned off the per-shot vibration as it was so frustrating when it suddenly cuts out 5 minutes into gameplay. I’ve seen others pick up and report on this bug yet still there is no solution.
2 I have only experienced on TPS, it’s noticeable but bearable. I can’t say for for co-op as I haven’t played it yet with others.
3 I’ve only had happen on Borderlands 2, and only ever in the Arid Nexus for some reason. Save & Quitting fixes it.
4 I haven’t found yet personally.
I agree, some more communciation about an update would be great. The vibration bug is such a pain and puts me off playing BL2 and makes me play TPS…

A lot of these issues should be addressed in the next update. As soon as we have more information on timing and update notes, we’ll share them with the community here and on the Knowledge Base!
I play ONLY OFFLINE and the tearing in TPS is SOOOO badd. BL2 IS NOT bad at all pretty good 98% of the time. TPS is BAD 98% OF THE TIME. They have a bigg update to make to fix these issues.

my tearing almost completely stopped when i unplugged my kinect
Unplugged Kinect still the same. Gearbox is on top of it. They will fix it only matter of time now.
It has been over a month now and you can’t give us an ETA on this vibration problem or any of the other problems. Sorry but it feels like you guys aren’t really putting in that much effort.

I must concur. It makes Matthew Armstrong’s reasons for leaving Gearbox more clear now.

Well, I had a new one today …
The micro judder/frame rate issue for 5 to 10 seconds then ok for 2 to 5 seconds then judder again (rinse and repeat)?!
Managed to clear it with 2 resets of the Xbox 1 but very odd all the same.
I think I would be happy if they dropped the res to 900p and just went with that rather than chasing 1080p and just about
hanging on the edge of the Xbox’s limits (and PS4’s too).
I don’t think anyone would notice that, especially with the art style they have. It’s not like it’s a photo-realistic game
a-la Tomb Raider or Destiny … Just a thought.

Very good point. I must concur. Their priorities seem weird to me. I assume poor management. It all boils down to that.

Per @Kitty_Jo, there will be an update with various bug fixes. The list for Pre-sequel a lot longer. I’m glad the controller vibration issues were at least addressed (for both BL2 & TPS…see General notes).
The controller vibration NOT A FIX… and the screen tearing neither!!

What do you mean? Did you read the notes? Under General: “Fixed various controller vibration issues.” And note that the Update isn’t available till later in the day although I haven’t seen information on the exact time of the Update’s release. Perhaps @Jeffybug or @Kitty_Jo can provide additional details about timeframe.
By the way @Jeffybug or @Kitty_Jo, also, why is it that I can no longer reply to this related post? Controller Vibration Bug / Issue
I was trying to inform other users in the thread about the latest update that should fix controller vibration issues, but Reply is no longer an option in that specific thread/topic…?

Actually, re: Update’s release timeframe, per @Kitty_Jo’s link: “The updates are currently scheduled to roll out in the early morning (PDT) on Xbox 360 and Xbox One and by the early afternoon (PDT) on PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, and PC.”
el mando sigue vibrando igual que antes, le tengo puesto vibración off pero vibra igual
I have read the notes and I installed the patch the controller still vibrating as before, you have put off vibration but vibrates like, on XBOX ONE, found 100%

It appears that the BL: THC 5/19 Update is already available on Xbox One. I’m noticing the controller vibration is now consistently present when shooting, the way it should be. I do wish the Xbox One’s controller’s rumble funcionality wasn’t underutilized in THC, but that’s a completely separate topic of discussion. At least controller vibration is now consistently present when shooting.
I also tried turning off Per-Shot Vibration and shooting vibration turns off as expected (at least on Xbox One).
Note that the Update for PS3/4 isn’t expected till this afternoon Pacific Time. I’m actually surprised the update rolled out so early for Xbox.

Raro. A mí sí me funcionó el arreglo de Gearbox. Ahora el control vibra consistentemente cuando disparo. Cuando apago Per-Shot Vibration, el control deja de vibrar como esperado. Lo siento que el arreglo no fincionó en su caso :-/

That may be because it was posted uncategorized (you originally posted it on the main page). And a fix to the forum was recently done to prevent people from being able to post uncategorized.
I just moved the thread though. Are you able to post in it now?
And thanks for keeping folks informed about the patch. Helps a lot!
