Exploit invincibility and infinite damage/firerate ruining the game

See people like this are what ruins this game for ever. The nerfs need to be on glitches, unintended combos that make players god mode. Not by nerfing a weapon like the lyuda or Flakker, It was never those weapons that where OP, it was the combos people used to take advantage of unintended outcomes. But these people at Gearbox are so lazy they take the easy out and just nerf the weapons we all use, so not other who couldn’t or didn’t use those combos like me playing are Zane now loose my best gear for no reason other then the devs are lazy.

Last thing i will say:yes. And invulnerable does not drop off. You could have 100hp shield and 1 life and take damage from only 1 source in the game. The one punch guy. As much as im gonna say.

No one plays how I said. What you are talking about is going through the story, Driving around a mountain with the view of the alps, or a beautiful forest. its also not the long journy to defeat a dark souls boss. this is a long tunnel, that is not enjoyable. it also gives no reward. yes, I got a few legendaries from it, but I get the same amount of legendaries from a 30 minute slaughter star, as a 2 hour slaughter star.

I enjoy an hour game, not a 2 hour one.

Where do I say that? I don’t want infinite damage. I don’t even play Moze. I play FL4K, and not because they were powerful. I picked Fl4K because they looked cool.

I dont need infinite ammo or god mode. I just don’t want things hard nerfed.
I don’t play moze(I have a max Moze, but I dont play her as much), but I don’t want all the people who do play her to have wasted their time. I know people who have farmed for 60+ hours to get a good Hex. then it’s wasted. They don’t even have a replacement.

And I was using slag as an example. And try to stay away from saying that I am sad.
I used slag, because it was nessesary. there was no alternative, you had to use slag, or things did not die. now replace slag, with guns. Certain legendaries are trash, and others are godly. If you nerf the godly ones, all you have is trash guns.

Also, people came here to have fun. We play to relax after school, or after work. We sometimes don’t want to play darksouls. we want to play a game where we can delete things to get our frustrations out.

Plus, I don’t even use a lot of the op builds.
My favorite weapon is the Faisor. I play this game to have fun.

This is a different glitch, and this one should be patched. If someone sets their build about this, thats just sad there.

Thanks for illuminating us all as to the meaning of the word “tattletale”. The word sounds like it could have early Irish roots…

Also, Gbx knows what builds/gear/items are being used the most on each class. It’s not like someone is “spilling the beans” lol. Gearbox maintain their own internal metadata and make balance adjustments based off that.

And just because something is popular doesn’t necessarily mean it will be balanced.

Just saying.

These exploits have been around for awhile. The invincibility one was maybe 2 days after release and is so easy it’s hard to see how it was missed.

It seems to be a more sensible outlook than needing the game to metaphorically groin stomp you to ‘enjoy’ it and have ‘fun’.

Ha ha - it’s so weird to be on Pandora and not be familiar with everything the game has to offer; I have no idea what those things are. When I get there, I’ll give this a spin and see how I like the outfit, but I usually avoid this sort of thing or scale it down to something I enjoy.

Is there something about this that makes it ruin the game that I should avoid? Like this setup is either one-shotting everything or not working at all, so we can’t play at an enjoyable middle ground? What should I watch out for when trying this out?

Remember the Bee and how it was all “Lol terroramorphis you cheesy little worm sh!t, here’s a conference call!”

And then Terra was like, “k bia!”?

Ppl were so angry on the forum when the bee died, but then 9 seconds later ppl were like “u missed the DPUH mother foolers!!!”

the reason why I explained what I meant is because my post got flagged, So I edited it. Im not trying to name call, so I was trying to make sure people knew I meant. sorry for the misunderstanding.

You deal more damage(with the build, not the shield), but you have near infinite shield, since you have like base 60k shield, but whenever you get a kill, you get some more, and it stacks for 30 seconds. ive seen 300k health. the bloodletter though, is a shield that every time it breaks, you deal more damage, so you can stack the break effect, and one shot gods. you dont need to do it though.

Phalanx? I’ve been dubious about that - even the thick mobs here don’t seem like they’re worth it, but I haven’t done any circles of slaughter yet either.

How long does the Bloodletter effect remain active?

I dont know, I have not used it. I think it is untill you die, and considering you have near infinite shields, you wont die.

If it’s permanent (even if we leave the shield equipped), I’d be surprised if that was the designers’ intent (that’s begging for this sort of exploitation). Thanks for the explanation though!

■■■■ like this have been in the game since vanilla bl2, guns stacking, crit swap, snappshot etc etc. it has not been fixed yet, it’s in this game aswell, it didn’t ruin bl2 then and it won’t ruin bl3 now. they know this is possible, because it’s due to how they built their games. but it does not actually matter because if you want a challange you DON’T use it. this might be hard to imagine but there are actually people who like to use these glitches, i don’t see how fixing it helps you in any way since it doesn’t actually affect you.

if anyone thinks they are balancing their game around these glitches in the future, they need to go out and get some comon sense.

Actually what he talks about isn’t an OP item/ability it’s a cheat so it’s safe since gearbox has never once fixed a cheat. Which is why these nerfs make even less sense.

What’s the cheat? Like are they entering a console command, or just taking advantage of the (maybe) broken game mechanic?

exploting the hell out of a bug. Its supposed to increase damage for a short time I think, but you stack it, so instead of a small boost to damage, its a one shot graveward with a pistol boost to damage.

yeah, and you can use a immunity relic and become invincible until you log out, you can enable console commands and give you god mode, you can mod your weapons to do millions of damage, you can modify your saves to have unlimited golden keys / eridium / money / ammo too. i don’t, and i don’t care if other do. it’s their games, their rules. not mine.

People can mod their games to their hearts desire, as long as they dont join other games, or make their games open to the public.
