And then he’s severely under leveled, don’t engage when it’s even terms, almost every match I’ve ended up at level ten before the second boss fight from camping one point and killing barrels i to buy the spawned again. Level 4-5 Kleese vs level 10 anyone is not going to be pretty for Kleese.

I am going to quote my dear friend Greg here:
“Ambra and kleese have skirted by because in the only mode that was successful for pvp, incursion, is their weakest. They are strong, but balanced enough where you can probably push them off. Other modes like meltdown or capture or faceoff they’re awful. The game has pushed maps and modes that argue for ‘sustain’ and no one does it better than them”

That’s fine quote whomever you like but if you’re going to insist on engaging them on their terms they will beat you,

There are 4 pvp modes. In one Ambra/Kleese are top tier and in the other 3, they are too strong and game breaking.

How are you engaging them though? They haven’t broken any of the matches I’ve had against them…
If a person insists on running into a fortified enemy position without proper planning they are going to get wrecked

You don’t think there is anything wrong with them so any counterfactuals I give you will ignore.
Simply put, my problems with Ambra and Kleese are only exacerbated by this new mode.
I find faceoff incredibly boring and a big team death match in the middle (which favors these two). There is no comeback mechanic or anything to prevent snowballing and this mode does not reward buildables the and minions as the other modes do.

They both have big counters, it just depends on how you attack them… don’t run into rifts or let Ambra keep her sunspots. I have no problem with them and like them.
I also want to see the crazy pills come out
Is it that you have a problem with them in general or do you just not know how to handle supports that fight back?

Kleese is lousy on Face Off. Every five minutes, he’s forced out of his rifts and gleefully farmed for easy kills by the enemy team…

And contributes nothing. This isn’t Capture. You don’t benefit from having control of the depo all game. When we play, everyone usually only deposits once - when we have enough combined masks. We wait for the boss fight to pull the (grossly underleveled) Kleese away, kill him, and return to find his network gone.
The only control points you want to hold for an extended period of time are the Varelsi camps, and there’s plenty of them.

Heck, he’s farmed for kills long before that. If an enemy Kleese thinks sitting at the drop point the whole is a good strat, he’s in for a quick and decisive game against vastly over-leveled enemies. Not to mention that even if he hits level 4 quick and then heads to the drop point, it takes quite a while to set up a network and much less time to shoot it down. I’ve heard lots of complaints about Kleese ruining this mode, but I’ve yet to come across one who has posed much of a threat, simply because I know when and when not to engage him.

The only reason he might escape attention earlier is that he’s worth less experience than the Varelsi

Yup. Fine by me if he sets up shop at the drop point early on. One less person to challenge me as I spawn 400-shard lures as fast as I can get the shards.

Fight together or die alone. It’s all over this game’s marketing. It’s there for a reason.
I have only ever seen one Kleese played well in face-off, and he didn’t approach the deposit point to set up until he was level 9.
The rest just sit there all game and end up getting destroyed because they’re severely underlevelled.
I understand where you’re coming from.
There was a time that Kleese and Ambra were exploited in Meltdown with thier No-aim weapons.
I hated them too until I got better aim and understanding on how to counter them.
Ambra’s DMG is low , usually even mike and whiskey can take her out before she kills them.
Kleese’s Shock taser does high damage in a short time , so keeping you distance with him while maintaining fire csn easily counter him. Can’t tell you how many times I pick Caldarius just to annoy the ■■■■ out of kleese in Face-off XD.

Oscar Mike is the counter of kleese… Go with shield penetration hélix and napalm to destroy his rifts.
Damn OM is a good ambra counter too!! Save your napalm for sunspot, if she wants to beam she needs to get close, if she is close shoot her face!!!
I know why they feel op, and yes maybe their dmg is above avarage if well played, but they can be countered with AoE and movility, both lack that!! “Territorial”
Just ignor the deposit center and grind lvls, spam as many barelsis as you can and power lvl!! Melka can beat ambra close quarters and kleese midd range!!
Only meele have problems with kleese if his rifts are on. Simple dont fight in their territory
Killing an enemy with 100 masks is easier said than done depanding on your&his character and the his/your team.
Pendles can easily stack up masks. Reyna can be his support while being aggresive and place ambra to secrue the depo.
This is one of the simple team composition you can create to have a quick victory.
I also wanna mention that Varelsi tend to attack you even if you’re not near them at all (when you’re not harassing them of course).
Can’t tell you how many times I put high DMG like crazy on a melee player and even thou I keep my distance I still lose HP cause the Varelsi suddenly decide to go out of their spawn because they feel like trolling XD.
Limiting the stack up is essential for the balance IMO. I would consider this highly above all my suggestions. Otherwise , this mode can be for fun and chaos and be stripped out of the competitive aspact.

Old school cereal commercials!
There was this cereal called Trix, wuthbthe tag line “Trix are for kids!” and the mascot rabbit would always be trying to steal Trix cereal from these kids, and they would always thwart his plans and sat “Silly rabbit, Trix are for kids!”
XD lol never seen that commercial before .
I guess DBZ parody took that joke from there…
