i spent 58k on Saturday on jeneret packs. Didn’t get a thing. it was amazing.
Considering this game seems to be bugged in what it “calls” from it’s servers I’m not surprised. I’m still waiting on my Coopetition tag even having gotten the 60 kills on a group a number of times in a row on the same day…
That’s not including anything else it isn’t registering. I just happened to notice that one.
Statistically, that’s not really a significant difference, even with ~50 trials. One possibility that should be easy to check though: are there the same total number of skins (and taunts) for each faction? I know when going through the Appearance tab for each character that the lists are different length (not counting premium skins/taunts requiring platinum for purchase), but I’ve never added up the total. Depending on how the RNG rolls are performed when you open a loot pack, it’s conceivable that a faction with more skins/taunts has a higher drop rate. (Plus, we have the original Eldrid plus Alani, but the extra Jennerit won’t be out for a while.)
OK, hadn’t noticed the specifics on that. Makes sense though. I rarely get two of any combination of skins and taunts in the same pack (usually just one of either), but then I haven’t burned through a ton of packs. (So far, the only character I really wanted a different taunt for was Melka, because her default one is just plain weird. It looks ok-ish in the appearance tab, but when you see it in the “line-up” at the start of a mission it looks more like she’s just suffering the after-effects of too much Eldrid booze…)
Can confirm. Eldrid packs were far more generous than Jennerit for me. Jennerit actually were very lackluster, Bought the most packs, but got the least skins/taunts.

Agreed. I buy them all in an order. I think the Jennerit packs have given me 5 taunts since I started.

I’ve understood that everyone has two taunts and three skins that can drop from loot-packs.
Each hero has 2 lootable taunts and 3 skins. Eldrid, Rogue and UPR have 6 heroes, Jennerit and LLC have 5.
So, there might be difference in drop rate, but I don’t think it would be that much. Anyway, UPR and Rogue drop rates seem to be as low as Jennerit (or close to it) despite having more heroes.
Oh yeah, we’re still missing the LLC and Jennerit characters…
I came to the same conclusion quite a while ago. For whatever reasons, Eldrid packs are far more generous in skins than any other pack.
Yet I Still Do Not Have A White Skin For Miko or Mellka.

This was my theory from begin with.
Eldrid: 6 heroes with 3 skins/2 taunts each = 18 skins + 12 taunts
Jennerit: 5 heroes = 15 skins + 10 taunts.
So Jennerit and LLC have less customisations that can drop. This would explain the difference in droprates as described.
YEt Rogue and UPR packs aren’t as generous as Eldrid, even thought they have the same amount :).
and actually it’s 11 taunts and 9 taunts , as there’s a taunt per faction (orendi, miko, phoebe, OM, and caldarius) that can only be obtained with the digital deluxe edition.
It actually doesn’t matter, drop rates should be the same even if there are like gazillion of those things… It’s just that there is a bit bigger chance you will get 500/1k coins instead of a new taunt/skin if you already have some of the taunts/skins.
But the problem this topic is talking about is that Jennerit packs drops less taunts/skins, than the other faction ones. It’s like Eldrid ~20% chance, Jennerit ~5% chance to get a drop. At least it felt for me this way.
We’re talking about Loot Pack taunts and skins here, though? Digital Deluxe and premium taunts and skins don’t really matter here.
they do , since for those characters there’s only one taunt available in the loot packs. There is 6 taunts per character. The initial, the unlocked after a specific lore chalenge, the unlocked at rank 15, the two taunts that are in loot packs OR were unlocked with digital deluxe, and the premium taunt.
Skins don’t have any change, yes.
More like Eldrid packs drop rates are higher than other packs.

My only tid bit is that i bought about 32 jennerit packs and 4 elite packs.
An in my 32 jennerit packs i got the taunt and skin i wanted for Ambra, as well as 5 purps and i THINK one legendary that was trash an was sold immediately.
Personally, I think all the drop rates are horrible. Especially considering the price of faction packs.
