On here it says my fade away is only 5 seconds in the description. I have timed it several times, and it is only 5 seconds as well. 5second

The hotfix notes seem to be incorrect. Game says 5 seconds and that’s what my stopwatch says too

5 seconds, that’s not even long enough properly aim 3 shots.

3 shots in 5 seconds…I would be shocked if you couldnt get 3 shots in 1 second.

Half the time I use all my invisibility to reload now. I’m not complaining, but 1 second is a big chunk in the long run.

I mean, aiming and firing on three different targets. In fade away, one shot should kill most things. Then you need to aquire another target and repeat.
I never liked the skill tbh. It nerfs the base action skill, not enhance it. Now they add another nerf on top of an already nerfed thing. No thanks, at least the taunt augment does something positive by keeping enemies from attacking me after fade away.

Yeah, I was wondering about this as well. Is it bugged in game and is supposed to be 6 seconds or are the patch notes wrong? I posted this on the patch thread but didn’t see an answer.

It was a great ability at 8 seconds. At 5 I’m not sure it’s worth using. Mist already severely diminished the defensive element of FA by making the health regen part irrelevant but the massive damage you could do to multiple enemies in 8 seconds made it worth it even if you had to reload. 5 seconds (save for maybe on a boss) might not be worth the downside anymore.

Yeah, I don’t see why just making it 6 seconds would hurt.

Trash nerf too, the skill is useless now.

I think this mist nerf also creates a side effect nerf to hidden machine. As a solo player hidden machine isn’t really worth the points except when paired with the old mist. The added damage you could do with hidden machine + mist was worth it. Now that ability is worthless as well if you primarily play solo.

Couldn’t you make sure you reloaded before using the skill?

I haven’t played Fl3kb yet but how did this make the skill worthless?

Watching some video, it still take less than 2 seconds to destroy a boss. Seems decent.

Yes, but before you could empty your clip and reload and fire again with a fast shooting/reloading weapon. Not really feasible now.

Fl4k has a % chance to re-obtain his bullet upon hitting a critical, but it’s only a chance, so most of the time you are reloading unless you’re lucky and get on a streak.

Surprised they didn’t refund our points or give us a respec with this change. I need to respec out of hidden machine.

The problem is, this affect not the OP people with OP gears, but others that isn’t OP & leveling.

The fun of trying to crit as many mobs as possible is gone now. If it is primary a skill to focus on one target, its make sense, as its just same thing, but shorter window. But if you also want it as a means to trake down as many mobs as possible, its rough.

With as many people who seemed to enjoy the pre-nerf powerful Fl4k, I don’t see why they wouldn’t make a mode or an option to play with pre-nerf. Even if it was only available in an offline or maybe a only pre-nerf Fl4ks allowed type setting. Seems most people who had crit build Fl4k played solo anyway. I understand the nerf for an online session so it’s a challenge, but some people just enjoy melting everything in their path.
