Close the app and restart it, it worked for me.
I had to do the same thing once I closed the game I could sign into Shift, the weird thing was if I firat turned on the system which ever game I played I could sign in but once I quit and saved and went to the character screen I was signed out. Hopefully it’s fixed soon.

I had to close the game with “close the application” and restart it to be able to sign in the shift menu to enter the keys.
No problems on the One.
i put a ticket in and after over a dozen emails back and forth, gearbox still thinks it’s to do on my end. WTF you have sold us a product that does not work as advertised. are we supposed to wait until you remaster the remaster on PS5?? it’s damn disgraceful. where is your quality assurance check before releasing the product?

@inanonen- have tried following the steps that @HarryHoodlum linked to above? Seems to be working for some people and based on your ticket number, this isn’t consistent with a SHiFT bug.
Tried it and now I can log into shift in ps4 but cannot log into shift on PS3. Also cross save still not working and yes absolutely every bit of program, software, device, hardware is all upto date in my house.
Ok, what about settings – is there any chance your PS3 is not set to connect? Crazy question, I know, but important to try and rule out all possibilities. Any other settings that aren’t what they should be – NAT type, etc.?
Still not working and still no answers from gearbox. All I keep getting are further questions about my setup. It’s a console! Plug n play! Next you will be asking for longitude and latitude. Gearbox, just fix the issue on your end already! And where is my compensation for a product that you’ve sold to me that does not work as advertised? Been way over 1month of this crap!
Hi @inanonen- very sorry to hear you’re still having issues! Were you able to rule out the settings, etc as I outlined above? Certainly want to do anything we can to get you fixed up here.
You admitted earlier that the team is aware of the issue. So why keep asking me to do things as if it’s to do with my hardware. I have everything upto date and setup correctly. Now unless you are going to have a tech come to my house to check more nonsense about my hardware and software and pay for me to take time off work for you to do so then just fix the issue at your office as the issue is to do with your software. You made the game and it doesn’t work as advertised.
I have a few questions for you.
1-did you have quality assurance checks before releasing the game?
2-did you release a game that does not work as advertised?
3-is your server upto date?
4-is there an issue with your coding?
5-have you turned your server on and off?
6-is your server properly connected to the internet?
7-is your ISP bill paid?
8-did you test cross save before releasing the game?
Still no answer to my questions?

Again, I’m very sorry to hear you’re still having issues. The team has indeed been hard at work on fixes to help players experiencing connectivity issues. At present, those fixes are slated to be included in the next update which should be hitting very very soon. You’ve clearly been very patient and we greatly appreciate that.
Mate, it’s been been far too long. Still not working. Give me compensation before this goes further to the ombudsman for falsely advertising a product that does not work as advertised!
I have not put this game on for 1 year. I’ve just tried again to use cross save hoping that it would be solved after a year and it’s still not working. It’s damn ■■■■■■■■ and I will never ever again buy a game made by these developers.
Broken since day 1 and still broken after 1x year later!
