The Nemesis from BL 1 was the best dule-element weapon in my opinion

Bekah
Pimpernel
Twister

Those are my top 3 in no real order

Hail
Kitten
Slowhand
Longbow
Coach Gun
Elephant Gun
Maggie
Butcher

Those might be tier 2, but it depends on my mood I guess

I looooove the Emperor. The tight pattern is great for shot placement, it kills efficiently, and I really enjoy the Dahl reload animation. I’ve yet to find one at OP8. Grrrr.

After that, I find these weapons to be very satisfying to use:

  • any Hyperion shotgun
  • pimpernel
  • CASUAL RAVAGER!!!
  • Maliwan Plasma Casters without zoom

Never really played BL, (will get round to it once I upgrade my PC), but I have seen gameplay of that beast.
Also, what about that laser from pre-sequel?

Couldn’t agree more. As someone that plays hellborn and meat Krieg, those shotguns have INCREDIBLE DPS for me.
Also worth noting that a Practicable Thinking has higher close-range DPS than a Practicable CC, due to having that 1 extra projectile.

Just in case you didn’t know, in the original Borderlands you have to level up the different gun categories to make them more effective / do more damage. IIRC, the weapon level maxes out at 50. That is one of the things I didn’t like about the original Borderlands. However, if you have a weapon equipped (example: a Sniper Rifle) but aren’t actually shooting it you can still get exp towards increasing the Sniper category level if another player is shooting a Sniper Rifle.

@Poisd2Strike I knew about weapon proficiencies, I got to level 20something, but got bored on my own (360). But when I get a new G-card, I will start a new playthrough and level till the end. And thanks for telling me about that trick.

Can’t do without my Ladyfist

If it has to be only one overall choice, then it would be the Bitch. Coupled with the right setup it’s deadly enough for close-quarters work, fast enough for quick moving or small enemies, and as accurate as any sniper rifle out there. Only thing better would be if that Bitch made a great cup of coffee too.

It’s a bitch to farm tho…

True it’s not the most enjoyable farm, but with Maya and a corrosive Pimp with crit bonus it’s not a particularly difficult farm either. I did get 2 Bitches, a fire Leech, an Axton head, and a Sham in less than 25 attempts… that’s pretty good for BNK3R.

The Slow Hand as my favorite, with Maggie, Greed and Snider following. I also have a soft spot for the Good/Bad touch and Lascaux, I used those a lot back then.
The Slow Hand is like a small rocket launcher, and proves to be even better when everyone you play with lives far and the lag makes aiming difficult. The Pimpernel is a great upgrade to the Snider, but the Snider feels more natural to me.

I don’t remember what platform you play Borderlands 2 on, but if you are on PC, Xbox One or PS4 you might want to consider using a Blurred Trickster + Chain Reaction + Pimpernel (Corrosive) + Bone of the Ancients (Corrosive) when farming BNK3R as Maya. It is possible for Maya (and Zer0) to “one-shot” BNK3R on those platforms (even at OP8), without even using a Bee shield (although it certainly helps). That should make your BNK3R farming runs a bit easier

I agree with what you said about the Snider. I dislike the Pimpernel, it doesn’t behave like a sniper, which defeats the whole point of using one.

Well, you must not play 360. I can’t farm him at all, he glitches out every 2 runs, manages to fly away with smallest amount of health, and I just find killing him aggravating as hell. His drop rates however aren’t bad at all,I got a 93% Sham second try once.

Thanks, I have that item combo available, but choose not to go for 1-hit bunker kills relying on phaselock. With my Cleric com I take him down in about 15 shots, no phaselock required (but does help with Ruin), and the important part: I have always-on one hit kills on the loaders and auto cannons there. Makes a huge difference in how much of a struggle that whole farming sequence is.

The Lady Fist because it is powerful, easy to get and ammo efficient.

blue-quality jakobs sniper rifles, as semi-auto sniping is for ■■■■■■■. unfortunately no bessie around.
