Hated:
Rabid anything
Armored Psychos
Badass Constructors
Skeleton mages

I’d have to say without any hesitation at all that I hate Thresher Maws. Especially that big arse one that steals the signalling device in BL2, just after the construction droid near Overlook. I still think my favourite enemies were the various CL4P-TPs from Robolution.

Favorite:
Varkids (specifically Badass Varkids)

Most Hated:
Rabid Enemies (Skags especially…had one chase me clean across a map).

Faves

Goliaths - The dialogue is great.
Angry! I’M SO GODDAMN ANGRY!
I’LL CRACK YOUR SKULL OPEN WITH MY THUMBS!

Nomads (non shielded)- Same reason as above.
There’s literally no comeback great enough to complete with “midget lovin’, taint sack.”

Psychos - Dialogue again. Too many to write.

Dr Ned’s zombies. I love me some zombie killing.

Hates

Rats. Sit still you thieving b@stards. Don’t touch me.

Exp loaders - Sometimes I listen to music while playing and never hear them.

That one rakk in the fridge that absolutely f**ks your world up with one hit.

Wormhole threshers/ Badass Pyre Threshers - Speak for themselves.

That one loot midget who unexpectedly scares the hell out of you by randomly popping out of crates when you need ammo.

Pickle. Yeah, I said it.

I’m with you on this one!

My Favorite and most hated, depending on the player i am using in Borderlands, is the Guardians. Mordecai wrecks them, Lilith has to use Lilith Strategy 1: Turn invincible and run away.

In Bl2, it’s Rabid Stalkers, Cursed Pirates, an any Skeleton with armour that protects it from an attack once. Fave is Psychos, Badass Goliaths, and that one Skag that dropped me an Infinity on the way to Doc Mercy.

In TPS, The grand prize goes to the Gargaunts, specifically when they pull me out of the air, into a great big pit. Favorite would be MINAC’s minions, because it’s another excuse to slaughter claptraps.

Favourite -
Spiderpants. For no other reason than the reference made me laugh so much. I event got killed the first time he appeared. (just writing it down is making me smile)

Hated -
Rabid anything.
Wormhole Threshers.

All enemies that are not hated are favorites. Kill ALL THE THINGS!

Hated enemies from BL2:
Rabid stalkers/skags. Without Maya to phaselock or Krieg to tank, these guys were a nightmare. Too quick, too much HP, too much damage.

Buzzards. Highly mobile enemy that not only evades, but does so in 3 dimensions and spends more time running away than actually fighting. This is not good enemy design. Hated having to clear the buzzard’s nest in Sawtooth Cauldron.

Hated enemies from TPS:
Jet fighters. For the same reason as buzzards but thankfully aren’t quite as bad (but still bad).

It’s even better in UVHM when they regen the health you painstakingly managed to take off in your 5 second window of them not being in cover. I’m glad there’s no health regen in TPS

That’s why I like to hit them with the highest % chance corrosive SMG or burst fire pistol I can find - I can predict where they’re going to reappear based on the trail of little green numbers… The badass ones are harder because DoTs wash off them faster, but I’ll still take them over rabid stalkers. Now, a combination of buzzards and a pyro thresher, that’s something else entirely (* cough * Sawtooth Cauldron * cough *)

Badass Buzzards and Pyre Threshers are easy in combo.

Now…

2 Super Badass Loaders (Badass Loader if NVHM/TVHM) + Ultimate Badass Pyre Thresher (Badass Pyre Thresher if NVHM/Super Badass Pyre Thresher if TVHM)

(The Highlands. At a boat like area. You visit that place during the Tannis echo mission.)

I recently did that with Zer0 and completely lucked out:

  1. The rabid stalkers completely fell for my “deception with homing quasar” routine
  2. I was able to lure the surviving stalkers up to the loaders…
  3. …who were in turn lured to where the pyro thresher was waiting…
  4. …so I could “deception” to the boat, grab the echo, and scarper while…
  5. …for some reason, the pyro thresher was stuck just off the edge of the map

Man, that was so much easier than doing the same mission with Gaige!

That’s extremely lucky.

Loaders, psychos, and Goliaths are all great, if just for their spoken lines in combat.

The sound of Crimson Lance soldiers screaming in pain/terror as they burn to death, is also pleasing.

Atlas power armor was WAY too weak to be interesting.

Rabid stalkers are okay one-at-a-time, but they suck in groups.

Dahl powersuits are disappointing, as are the security bots in Titan.

I think powersuits are meant to be easy.

They’re hard to use, bulky, heavy and they’re probably new so they have issues. Jack even calls them “lame”.

Favorite:

  • Goliaths. Leveling them up is fun!

  • Enemies with frontal protection, like Spiderants and shielded Nomads, since they take a bit more teamwork than “Shoot this guy!” One often has to employ such brilliant strategies as “Shoot this guy from different directions!”

  • Badass constructors. I should probably hate these guys since they’re so damn hard but… BADASS. F*CKING. CONSTRUCTORS! They’re effin’ AWESOME!

Least favorite:

  • Zombies. There was just too much of them and more kept spawning… Not to mention defilers, ugh! …Yeah, Jakob’s Cove was not my favorite DLC.

  • Goddamn Vampire Witch Doctors! The other Witch Doctors were challenging with their healing ability but they used it scarcely enough. You could hurt them just fine. The Vampire Doctors on the other hand… Healing themselves with YOUR health was their basic attack. I honestly even gave up on Hammerlock DLC for a while just because of them!

I approve this message!

Favorites: any humanoid enemies (bandits, watchbots, Goliaths, etc)
Least Favorite: Rabid Skags / Stalkers, Swarmers, UBA Bugs

Super Badass Constructor is more badass and shoots nukes and digistructs super badass loaders.
