Given the nature of how things work in BB, I’m pretty surprised we don’t get proper drafting. Blind Picking can lead to some pretty annoying situations (Enemy has Miko Montana, no one has wound) and I think it would add better depth to matches

This would be awesome. Then I could ban Pendles!

Or pick some counter, even with 0 bans (I think for BB one per team would be the way to go). Say you’re planning on playing Kleese. They pick Pendles and it’s a good time for you to consider playing Reyna or Ambra instead and make his day sad through revealing skills
I could get down with an optional drafting feature. I’d have to say bans would NOT be part of the default package. Perhaps allow both teams to vote on whether to permit bans, and if so, how many characters picked per team?
I tend to be a “pick last, fill the hole in team comp” sort of guy unless I’m chasing Lore, so having an early pick wouldn’t be my preference, honestly.
Those who prefer characters that have a hard counter or nightmare matchup would be kinda sad, methinks. You really only get to play the guy you want if no one else has picked the counter beforehand, and you’re really at the end of the order so no one picks him after you.
No thank you. I would prefer to keep drafting out of my Battleborn experience entirely.

Yeah, given the hero pool being kinda smallish, and new players having very few options I do think bans are a touchy issue and not sure they’d be appropriate.
But the nightmare matchup thing is a two-way street. On the one hand, on blind pick no one can know you will be vary sad if they pick ISIC, on the other one you have no idea whether you’re safe on your pick or not.
