Dear Gearbox,
Please create a better system then just forum posting for bug reporting. I ask you to do this for these specific reasons.
There can be many posts on the same problem and i may not find out if you have addressed this problem in one of those posts or if its an ongoing problem. If you are working on the problem i have almost no way of finding what is happening other then searching through a lot of bug forums topics or going through a lot of dev tracker topics (maybe have a page just on bug problems that your working on?) Right now when i report a problem I do not know when it may be fixed or if its a bug you think you have fixed but i’m still having the problem. There seems like there is no real communication occurring when people just shout out on these forums for help with some game breaking bugs that can occur. I have reported a bug for example on the second day of the open beta and have never seen anything addressing my specific problem and this is very worrisome and frustrating to me, this would be even more so if the bug i’m reporting wasn’t happening to dozen of other players. If i am to spend money on a product that has potential to have bugs in it that need to be fixed so that i can enjoy that product i would like something more than posting on a forum and then hope something will happen but i may never actually get any response or new knowledge from the developers about that problem.
My bug has lasted a week now with no fixes and no comments from developers (I looked through the forum and dev tracker without finding anything what in itself should mean something). I really love this game but that makes me worried. If i could have a system where i could at least find out that this is a known bug that is being worked on and have a fix date or something that would help put my mind at ease. So i ask you to please create something to alleviate my worries about buying this game so that i know if something goes wrong for just one player that it will have your attention and get fixed.
