The easiest way I’ve found to level up and whatnot is to farm the Darksiders mini bosses. I pulled a legendary COM from the chest on the rockface, so I can imagine it would give out leg. weapons as well.
It may take a long time depending on where you are lvl and XP wise, but the minibosses aren’t that hard and it’s a save,quit,restart type farm. Not much walking about required.

Can you use the trade forums? Maybe you could gear up that way.

I made adjustments and it feels like a I lost a TON of damage at the cost of survivability.
SO my guns being horrible just got more dire of a situation.
And I have had no luck getting new weapons

And I just upgraded my blue frost SMG for a green one that was my level 
(It’s damage was a good bit more.)
And I just dinged to 54 which means my guns are now even worse relative to my level

While I do understand that you are frustrated and you did already state that you feel as though you have nothing to trade, @boombumr did take a moment out of his day in an attempt to help you out. I do not think he warranted a response preceded by “I guess I need to say this again” and followed by caps lock, please avoid it in the future.
People trade items for powerlevels. People trade items for free. You’d be surprised how generous people can be on the trade forums.
having weapons that are at least close to your level is more important than almost any other factor. look at the stats of the wrapon, not the rarity. That is what really matters. if an on level white is better than your under leveled legendary, switch to to the white!
Not counting quality not quantity yes… but this is really getting sad when I’m upgrading to green weapons.

The items of the day are almost always blue or better and you can grind your green guns to get blue or better.
and if you are low on money you can either go take on the darksiders, which you should be able to handle or just run around concordia picking everything up and either sell or grind it to get enough money to get better guns.
What level are you right now?
Have you also tried golden keys?
Also I know you said kinda what your guns are but can you give us specifics?
Names, Level, Element? Not just maliwan shock sniper. More like level 53 Maliwan Banbury Rakehell in shock element.

your sepc shold follow your gear: if the gear you have dosen’t work with the gear you’re getting, you need to change your spec. In other words, if you arn’t getting many blues, spec out of QnQ.
We’ve suggested so many ways for you to remedy your gear problems, I’m not sure what you want me to tell you anymore.
Just use a few of them and get used to using sub-par gear. Think of it this way, you don’t get much better at the game using super strong gear. one of the best ways to get better is using sub-par gear because it forces you to actually improve your gameplay rather than relying on a really strong build.
At this point it sounds like you need to use some gold key on the chest in Concordia. If you don’t have any keys search the post on here about key codes. If you scroll back through the post you will find that most of the old codes are still valid. I booted TPS back up last month and I was able to come up with 150 keys with the old codes. The gold chest gives only purple equipment and it is always on level. Randy and Borderlands are always handing out new codes on Twitter and Facebook all the time so there is no need to hoard the keys.

Do you not have a clean path to farm any red chest in the game? In all of UVHM?
In BL2 the Red Chest by Boom Bewm and the one by the Bay became so familiar that I could’ve set spots for them at the dinner table.
Even the items which are useless you can sell at the closest machine to replenish your emaciated bank account. You’ve got a lot of outs to this, mate.
He can’t get it up to 200 since he doesn’t have Cold Advance (at least as per the last spec he posted here). Besides, frozen enemies can’t damage you, so the freeze chance of Avalnche will probably do more for his survivability with his spec than an unsupported Short Summer.
I know where the OP is coming from. I’ve struggled mightily at times with Aurelia.
What’s helped me through is the glitch loot chests in clappies DLC. I feel they are the best sources for the acquisition of loot now.
A fairly easy farm is Drongo bones for the fatale as well. Of course have to defeat the Boson though which can be a pain. In one reset I was on one side of the room Boson was on the other and I just kept throwing the ice shard and shock transfusion grenades at him. Couldn’t do it any other way. Anyway went from getting my butt kicked to kicking his butt with some luck with glitched guns.
I got sick and tired of farming the darksiders to get jack diddly. I don’t think the chest that you think is there, is really available until after you do the mission for the midget with the rocket. which I can’t do.
And I got another level with no real improvements in gear… that’s 2 levels with my gear seeming to be no better then it was.
I almost had a coronary reading Electrica’s post until she noted that her advice she just gave was useless until I took out Boson. That’s what’s annoying me the most, is when people just parrot off advice that I specifically say is absolutely no good to me. I give these specific details and I still get advice about bosses I can’t get to. (even thou I specifically say that bosses are epic fail.) Half of my problem is my idiot brother I loaned my computer to try the game on burned all my keys I had saved. Several hundred on a series of low level characters. (just barely into Concordia). I keep saying I have no keys and people keep ignoring me. that’s what is really getting to me. I specifically say why something won’t work and I still get people telling me that’s what to do.
So much generic advice that is doing me such little good.
And I honestly was so horrible that about half the time I died trying to farm the darksiders. Just pathetic really. I ended up rolling back all my changes to the lousy build I was using before, switched back to the arctic support relay, and back to total glass cannon and I stopped dying on the darksiders.
the changes I made for survability nerfed the crap out of my damage and it just went downhill. It became a lot harder to get second winds and I ended up dying more. Bosses aren’t even a remote possibility at this point.
And if It seemed like I tried to poke holes in every piece of advice anyone told me, it’s because there’s things that just 1000% wont help.
Honestly I gave up on her and I rolled a Jack. I got sick of it this glass pea shooter. It just stopped being fun so I stopped playing her. So if anyone is wondering, no I haven’t managed to gear up… because I’m not even trying anymore.
And seriously… telling someone who is saying they are struggling with gear to “GET BETTER” what a way to kick someone when they are down. Let’s see you pull some white and green guns out of the vending machine and try to take down bosses with that crap. Because that’s what I’m using aside from a 4 level old blue maliwan shock sniper.
For anyone else who is having this trouble, farm the darksiders, it hasn’t done me any good but a few dozen more clears of it I would have enough cash to reload-repeat vending machines and hopefully get better guns. I gave up on this toon, honestly I think I just suck too bad to do a glass cannon to end game in this game.
Dude, I am so, so… screwed as well. But I did get a legendary Rocket from Flameknuckle! (or whoever was that fire dude in helios station.)
