Fix for Reyna's Priority Target

I’ve noticed a small problem when playing at Reyna in multiplayer matches. This probably happens in co-op too, but I haven’t used her in that mode.

When using Priority Target, it should lock onto the person I’m aiming at. I think there is a short lock-on period, but the problem is that it ends up hitting a minion that is next to me instead of the enemy that I’m aiming at in the distance.

You should fix Priority Target so that it targets the enemy that I have in the reticule. I’ve used that attack many times with it hitting the unintended target. Please update this for the final game. Thanks :sunglasses:

I think it tracks the closest enemy to you that is near the reticle. I found a great work around for this by jumping before firing. Less chance of accidentally hitting a minion.

It’s a projectile that homes in on the selected target but will still hit the first thing it encounters. This makes it challenging to use in a fracas, but it isn’t “broken” per se. As far as I know, it is working as intended.

In addition to jumping, if you don’t take the trait that speeds up the projectile you can hook it over minions by aiming a little high. If you take the speed up, good luck as it loses most of its tracking ability and you’ll be left really checking your line of sight as well as leading any strafing targets or it can hook past their heads.

That’s not the case. Last time this happened, I was aiming at an enemy across the map. The minion wasn’t even on my screen. I fired and it went right to a minion that was standing next to me. Any guided rocket or weapon game I’ve played, the weapon locks onto the enemy I have under the reticle. I would understand if there were other enemies crossing the path of fire, but that is not what is happening here. I figure the purpose of the reticule is to point out the object you are trying to fire upon. I’ll have to test this again when the final game comes out.
