What will this do to the dpuk if it stands for elemental effect chance ?
Nothing, you get no benefit from the Maliwan grip.

Ok thanks will try it, I’ve checked my maya op8 dpuk and it has a Torgue grip with the lazer attachment that has no actual lazer coming out and a Torgue hoop sight. Is that what i need for my other characters?
Torgue vending machines are on-level yeah. normal vending machines aren’t
That’s the exact same DPUH I have at the moment. The Maliwan grip has no effect whatsoever on non-elemental guns. It has no positive modifiers, but on the good side, it has no negative modifiers either. A Torgue grip would give it more damage, a bigger magazine size and faster reload speed, that’s why it’s considered the best one.
The lazer attachment that has no actual lazer is the accessory that gives the pistol the Double Penetrating prefix. It makes the gun fire twice the number of bullets with every shot, while consuming double the amount of ammo. Yes, if that one has a Torgue grip, you have the perfect one. Just be mindful of your ammo pool while using it and it will destroy everything on every character. By the way, I actually ran a lower level one for a while on my character and it still destroyed everything in sight.

That laser thing is the double accessory giving it the DP prefix.
Yeah, these are the parts you want. The sight is irrelevant because it doesn’t affect the stats (it does on RL though)

Yep, I did the same. Managed to complete UVHM using a level 50 DPUH all the way to level 61. In the later levels, slag was becoming even more of a necessity, however.

Just checked out my sand hawk at op8 it’s got a bandit barrel Dahl grip Dahl stock that’s good yes ?
Flying prefix
Barrels are fixed on Unique guns: the Sandhawk always has the Bandit Barrel)
On legendaries, the fixed barrel is the matching one (except on a few shotguns)
Dahl grip and stock on a Sandhawk is perfect, you’re lucky

Ok great, it’s all purely by accident because I just went for the flying prefix. I’ll have to check out the rest of my gear and see if I need to change any,

Alot of red text barrels don’t match, I didn’t realize until I did my good/bad/ugly series. I never added them up but I would guess only about half are matching.
But like chuck said they are locked.

I was talking about legendaries specifically, where it is rare not to have the barrel match with the manufacturer.

Ok just checked my Norfleet and I’m not sure, it’s got Etech barrel Torgue grip Torgue exhaust Maliwan body and sight, it’s in shock and prefix is puissant
Any good ? Well yes it is but is it good for a Norfleet ?
I see that now, since it went from the sandhawk with a bandit barrel to legendaries my brain skipped an important word
