i think a proper nerf wouldve been to just remove the bonus crit damage entirely but leave the duration as it was

(I am only story at level 37 so I am not talking in terms of end game perspective)

I played a bit of FLAK. The nerf is bad. Not from purely damage perspective but the playstyle & survivalbility.

You have far less time (37% less) to regen life & dodge mobs, also before I can down a few mobs with fade away. Now I basically can down only 1, 2 if lucky due to so little time to aim & move.

If you want Fade Away for survivability…dont pick GITM.

A skill can do more than one thing you know. I know it is shocking. The problem is the nerf affect the playstyle.

Also 14 sec is if you spec also max persistance hunter, which not everyone stack. If you need to spend 3 points to a skill before a augment skill is useful, then its poor design.

The right way is to remain the duration, but reduce the damage. End result is same, but the palystyle is intact & teh skill i sudeful even without specing Persistance hunter.

So you mad that GITM isnt the mandatory pick it use to be…Gee whiz…I wonder why it got nerfed.

The damage nerf is a very small part of fade away since Unblinking Eye remained untouched and Flak has other sources crit damage on thier skill tree. So 25% crit damage that’s additive with other sources of crit damages wont make a huge difference.

The Problem with Fade away is the duration bc you never had to reload with certain weapons and Leave No Trace.

Sorry picking skills should come with trade offs. Time to Git Gud.

I´m fine with this nerf and it was pretty much needed (i´m only playing Fl4k btw…).
It was just ridiculous easy to farm the hardest bosses even on TVHM M3.

Now the TTK finally feels reasonable instead of “wtf is this? am i still playing on normal without mayhem?”.

Fl4k still is one of the strongest ones, even if you run around with a 1 HP artefact that makes you a classcanon with huge damagespikes)… he can solo everything especially because of his pet revive if you fail at dodging.

I been a bit confused on this as well. Can anyone clarify the synergy between FA, GITM and Persistence Hunter?

If FA duration by default is 15 seconds and GITM changes it to 5 seconds. Shouldn’t PH bring the duration up to 7.25? I have all 3 skills but my duration just shows as 5 seconds so what is PH doing exactly for 3 skill points?

The nerfs to FL4K haven’t haven’t made the build I’ve gone with any less viable. It was noticeable though as I use The Duc as my main weapon while Fade Away is active. The Duc is a Jackobs pistol which was also nerfed.

It wont show you that the time is increased you literally have to use a stop watch and time it yourself, but it does work and the 3 points onto the skill are worth it.

Its not even like the made Fl4k bad he still melts ■■■■ in 5 seconds, just make it less fun and viably now, its a pve game leave the ■■■■ alone. Its not like the porcelain grenade that ■■■■ was broken ok cool fix it. Fl4k wasnt broken he was just better.

I really don’t have a problem with your opinion regarding fl4k and I agree that buffing Master tree, iron bear, zane has much higher priority in general… heck, Amaras skills are bugged to a degree where it’s easier to count which ones are working as intended. Not even talking about optimization. There are more important things that need fixing imo. But lashing out because of frustration and saying that other characters are “broken” is not the way to go. Balancing this game will be almost impossible for quite a while, if we receive those hotfixes that feel rushed.

I won’t complain - if I didn’t care about the challenge I would have just played in Easy Mode lol. More nerfs incoming? BRING IT :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:
