For those who cant go online

Hi Borderlanders,

i had the same problem alot of people complaining about. I couldn’t go online. I tried every tip the guys here were talking about. Chaning MTU Setting, reinstalling the game, nothing helped, but I’m pretty sure i found the real problem.

The Problem lies within communcation Standart IPv6 and IPv4.

I had long conversations with my ISP until they changed my connection back to IPv4. I don’t want to talk about the technical stuff but if its possible for you to change your Connection back to IPv4 everything should be fine.
Anyway Gearbox/Sony should do something about IPv6 support.

Thanks for the info! Hopefully this will help others who have had no luck with forwarding ports and MTU settings.

The MTU setting worked for me (change ito 1473), but i have an IPv4 connection.

Did it work for you with the default settings after changing to IPv4? I.e. MTU still set to 1500?

no, I didn’t change anything except opening the ports 7777.
My MTU ist still Set to 1500 and I have no static IP either
