All due respect, but I know about the “view older notifications”, and that’s not addressing the problem of already-buried (and soon-to-be-buried) unreads.

Need a pic for an example of the problem. Can someone do me a favor and snapshot their notifications box with a mix of read and unread notifications?

Ah, I think I see what you’re getting at now.

You’re right: an “Unread” option in the set of filters would definitely be a nice addition, especially on the notifications page.

I strongly agree with this idea

So if I don’t check @TemetNosce’s response, down it goes…until it resurfaces when someone adds to it.

@Kitty_Jo, who upstairs would be the one to handle such inquiries? @JoeKGBX?

I could have sworn I had

Yea, I’ve noticed this too. I can’t make any promises on changes, since that’s up to the Discourse team and what their road map is like, but I’ll certainly pass it on to them!

Many thanks, o Friend of friends.

@JoeKGBX/@Psychichazard/@Kitty_Jo: Forgive my bugging you, but this keeps coming back up…almost ironically.

Wayyyyyy off topic here (and I have nothing to add about prioritised notifications, other than yes, please) but what font are you using in that screenshot, @Raven_Ghosthawk?

Don’t know, honestly. It was the library’s computer…

Okay, I’ll find it with Google. Ta.

 The library’s computer, or the font?

Yup.

How exactly does one find a font from an image using Google? This sounds like some seriously useful arcane knowledge!

I was a graphic technician in a former job. Whilst my font knowledge is probably rather rusty, I know what to look for.

In fact, both my brothers are graphic artists, so I probably just need to ask them, next time I bump into them.

On closer look, it’s something really bland that was made a bit more interesting by the pixelation and varied focus. Never mind.

Rats - I was hoping to get some tips on figuring out types!

Anyway, the site uses “Roboto” via an @font-face in one of the files, and I’m fairly sure that’s the font being displayed in the relevant screen shot. If I’m wrong, I’ll go read a Discworld book as penance. If I’m right, I’ll go read a Discworld book as celebration.

Then clearly someone needs to make an actual font that looks like that.

Yeah, that’s what I was thinking.
and yes, Roboto is a very likely candidate, but on a low res screen which seems to have resulted in odd kerning and vertical thickness variation! The capitals are very interesting. To me. Especially the ‘H’ and ‘J’.

@VaultHunter101 I still haven’t read ‘The Shepherds Crown’. I just can’t. That would mean it was really The End.

I can understand that. I took a break to read other stuff, but just came back and read “Carpe Jugulum”. My goodness, that was so apropos given current events. Just goes to show how little human nature changes.

I…I donut understand, @Psychichazard. Was the font horrible, or do you like it?
