Today, so far NO freezing of any sort!! I even dared to venture into Tychos Ribs with a full on Nisha Riflewoman build and it all played pretty smooth.

Happened to me in the Titan Plant once with my friend, numerous times in Tycho’s Ribs (we honestly couldn’t get through to eleseer) and once in the motherlessboard before we just stopped. Please fix?
FWIW freezing constantly for me in Tycho’s Ribs. First playthrough for the TPS, wasn’t loving it before the freezing started, now I’m wondering if it’s even worth finishing. Very frustrating. Is there any ETA for a fix?
The freezing for me on the pre sequel for ps4 is random. Sometimes its 20 mintures and it will freeze or i can go a long time and it will be fine.

I just arrived at Tygos ribs with my 3rd char and ive freezed twice in under 5 minutes, please fix this gearbox iTS ruining THE game
Freezing for me occurs in three places: Titan Production, Tycus Ribs, and Motherless Board. It took me over three hours just to get through Tycus Ribs and I’m not able to pass through Motherless Board, specifically at the part where you have to get the viruses to attack the firewall. It seems like each time a freeze occurs, it takes less time for the next one to occur. What doesn’t make any sense is that I got the disc a week ago and downloaded the 9 GB patch before I even started playing. So why am I still having trouble with this?
When are you guys going to fix this? Cant play the game any more because it is freezing all the time!
The one thing that seems consistent is the PlayStation 3.0 update. We’re working with our partners at 2K and Sony to see what exactly the problem is.

Titan production plant has been a nightmare. I could get through most the story by making sure to save and quit after each objective but getting through a Felicity fight without a freeze seems unlikely. Thanks for keeping us updated Jeffybug, looking forward to that fix.
Could folks experiencing the freezing issue try playing offline (disconnecting your entire system from the internet – no ethernet or wifi connections active) and let me know if that helps at all?

By ‘not online’ do you mean you have your system completely disconnected from the internet (no ethernet or wifi) or just not with friends?
Id like to add the freezing started before the playstation 3.0 update. It was after the last big patch. There were quite a few people who made topics back then. But the freezing did slow down after awhile. Now i notice it more often after the 3.0 update.
For me the freezing didn’t start at all until after the firmware 3.0 update.

My in game freezes first started during the flying boss that comes before “explore eridium structure” during the beginning of the end mission. Same situation where i can back out to the ps home screen but the game had to be restarted, losing all progress. After replaying a few times ive gotten to the very first room in tycho’s ribs but i cant get far enough passed the first area before it freezes(not in the same spot, but close) and after restarting it erases any progress leaving me back in the first room by the vending machines
@Jeffybug i checked and my in game network options had already been set to offline. just started the game back up and cut the ps4’s internet connections all the way off so ill write again after testing it out once more
Just went through the motherless board (second worst offender) while in offline mode, didn’t freeze once. Time to see Tycho’s ribs, where it would freeze every 5 minutes 
So far it seems to be playing connected to PSN is the cause.
