8 so far this hour, no joke. Cannot complete build a robot army on tvhm because of how badly affected the robot buidling plant is.

Can’t believe we aren’t getting daily updates on this considering it’s affecting every single person on ps4 I know who is playing pre sequal.

Playing Normal mode, also stuck on the Robot Repair Facility because of all the freezing. This is so disappointing.

The pre sequel has crashed on me 3 times in the last hour, and several times yesterday. As many people have said, it seems to be random and often during voice overs.

Update doesn’t work, the game (pre-sequel) crash every 10 min more or less.
I launch the game, and i have to restart since the first save…

Please, help us!!! Too many time since you know about this BIG problem…

BL2 crashed on me again today. It happened in the Lair of Infinite Agony.

I haven’t tried playing TPS in a while (at least, not within Tycho’s Rib). I have been playing Borderlands 2 for many hours without a single freeze. So maybe the freeze @AMG_75 reports is an unrelated problem?

Either way, I agree with @Ifalna that daily updates would be nice.

Definitely not restricted to voiceovers in my experience.

If I could guess anything, I think it happens more often a bit after I hit the square button to reload. But I haven’t noticed that it’s particularly common during voiceovers…

Both of my crashes (the only two I’ve thankfully ever had in BL2) have been in the Lair of Infinite Agony area. One in the Lair itself and the other in the Dragon’s arena. Never had a problem anyplace else in the game.

How did it happen? Did it just freeze?

I’d personally advice against spamming Storm Fronts in there, the PS4 apparently can’t handle all the enemies on screen plus all the child grenades and stuff. :stuck_out_tongue:

Hi Gearbox, is there a way to keep us posted on an update soon. This is getting crazy. I can’t even finish TPS since my game crashes all the time in Tycho’s Rib.

From looking at the code, there is a very small chance that toggling off the Oxygen notifications may help to mitigate these crashes.

You can find this toggle by:

  1. Pause the game
  2. Select ‘Options’
  3. Select ‘Gameplay’
  4. Toggle ‘Oxygen Notifications’ from ‘On’ to ‘Off’ (It is at the very bottom of Gameplay Options)

This option will not appear in the main menu, and it is saved to the character and not the profile. This means you will need to change it an each character rather than changing it once and having it affect all characters.

I want to reiterate that there is only a small chance that this will help, but I wanted to pass it along just in case this does benefit you guys quicker than us being able to get you a proper fix.

BL2 is starting to freeze like TPS does when I open up the PS menu to send a message. Happened at least 2 or 3 times now.

The newest update has ruined this game for me. I got to Titan Production Plant. I can play for maybe 5 minutes before the game just freezes. This is ridiculous. First time it happened I thought no big deal, just quit the game and tried again. It just freezes. This in unacceptable. I am staying far away until you guys find a fix because now it just freezes all over.

well, was able to take down Felicity, 1 time then it froze on the second try

So it seems to be as random as it used to be

BL2 isn’t freezing for me but it really doesn’t like it when I go to the PS4 menu. Went back to check my skill points after I took a screenshot and when I went back to the game it stuttered hard for about 5 seconds. But no freeze yet.
