I’ve heard tell that a pre-load for the full game will only be available on the PS4. I hope this is false, as I’m sure many of you do. Will it be available for all platforms, or did Sony really give Gearbox that many shekels?
Pre load is usually available to most if not all games on steam as far as I know.
I pre-loaded on Xbox One already, unless I’m misunderstanding the question. In other words I bought the digital deluxe and it let me download the full game - awaiting release date to use it

I ordered the digital deluxe on PS4 and have not had the option of DL’ing it yet. I did get the static theme, but not the full version with a timer waiting to play it like other games have in the past. Battlefield Hardline let me do that though so it is possible.
I haven’t got a DL option yet. This will likely come a day or two prior to release. I had the same situation with ALIENATION which is out tomorrow and it auto-downloaded yesterday (though I can’t play it yet due to the time lock).

I also bought the game over the weekend on Xbox One and much to my surprise, a 19.something GB download started. Really looking forward to seeing what the full game has to offer when it’s released, having thoroughly enjoyed the beta, despite the fact I’m terrible at shooters. Fun times!
It’s nice to already know it’s there, just waiting for the day to begin. Really eager to start!
