your OP title has me murmuring the Aliens line from that little girl they find all by herself, named Nute. She has a line in the movie where she repeats the word “mostly” and the title makes me think of that line.
Ahah! Good ol Youtube. found it!

Hehe, yep I love me some Aliens
have you seen the new release? Just purchased it via Xbox1 store app. Pretty damn good dude! it follows the sequential events from Prometheus.
no, i haven’t.
Prometheus left a sour taste in my mouth, and reviews weren’t kind.
i know you can’t always trust the critics, but…
I’ll end up renting it sometime, have a book and movie list well ahead of it
I’m sorry.
I hate reading. And that’s basically all I do. I hate subtitled movies mostly…mostly.
it was a bit confusing to me. But when I watched the new movie it all made sense. Which probably adds to the enjoyment for me pseronally cause it made a slightly confusing movie more relevant and understandable in a way.
OK @FunkJunkie This is pretty deep. Not sure if this was your thought on the movie installments but this was very interesting to see what Ridley Scott was imagining in his movies
First of all @FunkJunkie thanks, that was cool to watch as i always love the slaughter rounds but i have to agree with Kurt, as i believe any opportunity not taken to level up a Goliath is a missed opportunity, so i’ll look forward to that in the future. In writing this it’s just made me think of a post from Jefe in the somewhat recent past where he had only just got the “David meet Goliath” achievement on Steam … he’s missed out on a lot of fun.
@hattieinduni glad to hear you have a balanced UCP that you use. I enjoyed it a bit in it’s infancy for a while but lost interest during the 2nd patch and haven’t looked at it since tbh, but i’m glad it’s there for people who want to express their ideas and talents with this sort of thing, and for those who choose to enjoy it, plus it actually got me back to BL2 by building my junk PC just to try it so i won’t complain as that’s why i’m here chatting with cool folks like yourselves
@Kurtdawg13 i haven’t watched the last of the Alien series as sometimes i don’t want to spoil the original if that makes sense, if i fear they’ve done a rubbish job of it, so i’ll put them on the “One day maybe” list
For me the primary attraction of the patch (which I didn’t get until I did my own) is some really basic stuff like making eridium auto pick up, getting Krieg’s raving retribution back, etc. There are a few other fairly rudimentary changes which I really like, and I was even able to use the patch’s work to modify Maya’s melee a bit so my Bandit Siren can have fun with that tactic at OP3. I spent quite a bit of time working out how to make my patch (though a simple version was very easy to assemble, most of the skills were dealt with in a block of code which - I think - piggybacks onto a hotfix so couldn’t be easily modified).
However, I’m told there is an easy tool which allows you to edit everything and anything in the patch to suit one’s own satisfactions. I need to have a look at it, particularly as SOMEONE keeps bugging me about putting the Flayer in! (And I think I have so far resisted making that into an inneundo).
Anyway, there’s some really interesting work with the UCP; much of it isn’t to my tastes but there are a select few things which are really fantasic and I highly recommend!
I would feel guilty about derailing Funk’s thread, except that it’s Funk’s thread.
Bookmarked for a read
For some real fun we could try taking the Aliens chat over to the Random Talk thread, a friendly argument about the merits of films is always fun
Thanks you very much. The Bandit Slaughter is one of my favorite things in the game; one of the best things the UCP did was making the final rounds repeatable (easy Hail farming is an nice bonus)
Godliath shenanigans soon…
@hattieinduni
The Tidal Wave is a poop stick
Start up an Bandit Gaige and we’ll talk
Hattie …
For sure
My favorite bit as was suggested to me when i had only recently started to play Kreig for the first time.
Lightcaosman does the filter tool you are thinking of, and i’ll probably look at it again but i stopped before that as it broke melee Zero i i just couldn’t have that as he was forgotten in that stuff and what they did do broke him so … yeah, plus i wanted to put the Meat Man through the Peak without it and had my white & green only Maya and stuff i didn’t want it for, but i get where your coming from
Did do this a few times also as “training” before taking Kreig through the Peak
However …
He’s gotcha there, good for knocking helmets off of Goliaths to “grow” for some …
which i will look forward to in the near future.
That was me steering this back on path for you
This thing could go likes thread multitrack drifting for all I care lol, it’s all just for grins
Well done on the achievement, Goliaths are fun, but God-liaths are more fun. In one of my recent runs there i got three Loot Goon Goliaths all in that area one after another, crazy stuff!
Unfortunately the two closest chests had de-spawned but the one in the background is still visible. It would have been fun had i known they would spawn to level them up, but hindsight huh
w00t
Nice… looking forward to you playing it with a bandit gaige…
Someday…
ok, I have an idea to see where this might go? lol
Most of my OP1 Peak run with Vladof Gaige on the UCP, filtered for no DOT buff
A few pauses in there from killing the Happy thread in off topic, sorry I’m too lazy to edit
Rust n peeces, tinn man!!!
I should have leaned on that shottie more from the start, now I know
