I was hoping I wasn’t the only one. I tested it in story mode because in pvp I usually stand near a tier 3 healing station with my own health regeneration and super heal myself and allies so we don’t have to run to base and be safe for 18seconds since I’ll be without that skill. I always pay attention to my health with her since she barely has any of it… plus I like making people think I’m going to die only to ult and kill them with the double DOT damage then run away or possibly die if I stayed near them in my ult too long. Also there was a bug already. Heal power or healing received never changed the numbers of her healing helix.

we need to tweet this out at gearbox or something like that so they notice it because right now that helix skill is completely useless

It’s probably worth noting which platforms this is happening on. Mine is on PS4 and is happening on story maps and competitive maps.

I haven’t noticed this so far, since I rarely spec into this helix.

+1 .They Probably lumped the healing into the nerf. Also they should relabel the description of desecrate to show the field only does anything on activation.

I noticed this playing last night too. Bummed. That was my go to healing with her. I am guessing it was a side affect of the adjustment to her other skills, hopefully an unintentional one that can get fixed

Yeah, it caused all of her Desecration abilities to only fire once, so abilities that occured over time, like health regen, are now broken - it presumably only does one tick on activation, if not being broken outright. Possibly the same situation for the DoT helix. Almost certainly not the intended behavior for non-CC abilities, so they’d probably try to fix it before they’d change the description based on a bug.

That’s just how Boldur’s skills work. If his runes are up, his axe explodes when you throw it, as intended. You save the axe throw until the ult is ready again. If you need to use it you just have to wait until axe throw is ready again & it comes back, and if you want build for barehanded melee. The ability to pick up his axe or have it come back will still work if you don’t have an active rune on it, but I always build for overshield & health stacks for the tanking.

Yeah, I finally played as Boldur recently.
I saw a post that made it look like choosing one Helix option turned off other options, but you’re right, it’s just a regular Boldur mechanic and one you can play around easily.

Already notified Gearbox Support. They’re fully aware by now. Just need to wait for the update now.

I had put my ticket in about two weeks ago and got a reply back starting they are now aware of the issue and will work on fixing it. My thinking is that because this is a bug that happened due to a patch rather than a hotfix, it’ll be a patch that will fix it. So keep an eye out for it hopefully it’ll happen soon with all the other things they’re working on.
