yah digital is non refundable i hope a patch is pushed soon to fix the bug because if its not i dont know how much i will end up playing the game
so the digital copy freezes at the gearbox logo? also i traded my new battleborn game for another new battleborn and it still had the problem as well

This is happening to me too. I’ve power cycled my xbox, reset my router, cleared the cache, reinstalled the game… But it still crashes at the Gearbox logo. It happened during the beta as well, so obviously they didn’t fix the problem before releasing to the general public. And for the record, I didn’t get the game until 2 days after release, so yeah… It’s available! This is crap.
I hope they sort this out for you. I’m on XB1 also and the only problem I’ve had was to regarding router’s NAT setup (ie strict vs open). Also to note, I am using an external USB3 HD instead of the internal HD. Not sure that would be the problem though.

freaking game does not start. Same problem after 2K logo, after GearBox logo, it FREEZES…

“GAME SHARING” is where you have multiple XBOX1’s that your account is on. If you have set your account to “HOME” on multiple xbox 1’s (believe limit is 2) will be able to access and use your XBL Gold membership to play online as well as to access your Digital Content.

So, I lent the game to my friend…and of course it works.
He has the XBOX One limited WHITE CONSOLE version.
I got the Call of Duty Console version. I just don’t get it.
I tried messing around with the inputs/outputs graphics…but nothing.
We don’t want to wait six months for the next update.

Game freezes at Gearbox logo after electricity n smoke…
This is probably the worst case scenario, but get a USB drive and do a factory reset on your XB1. I had a similar issue with Dying Light way back. I was playing and the game crashed, however when i went to reboot my XB1 I was left with nothing but a black screen. After I did a full on factory reset I was able to play the game and haven’t since had the problem. But as some have suggested it may be due to a failed XB1 update/patch, it’s hard to tell without having log files to dig through.
I appreciate the help…I’m going back n forth w them now. Lets see what happens. Hopefully I can delete last XBOX update…
To my knowledge there’s no other way to rollback the updates without flashing from the USB disk. But let me know how that goes. And admittedly if you have a data cap and are a digital content buyer like I am, you may want to look for another route other than a factory reset cause you will have to download your entire library again. I’m on a 350gb data cap, 20$ per 50gb over. So you can easily see the issue when downloading 500gb worth of games again.

I Restarted my console as you suggested without deleting the games and apps…And it worked!
My Theory: updating here n there may cause glitches (somehow). But if you do 1 shot updated (its automatic, of course) from original settings to last update, its a clean-cut version. And I’m pretty sure this is how they tested, from original settings.
BRETBOWLBY, nothing much we can do about not filling the drive, seems like they want us to dowmload the games into system lately, like this BATTLEBORN (19G). We’ll just have to keep deleting, but definitely buy the physical game. At least its worth 7 bucks when reselling at some game stores. Anyway, Thanks again!
