Hi,
I received Borderlands 3 with my recently purchased AMD RX 5700 I played fine last week but after the last patch I can’t start the game anymore.
I hit “Launch” in the Epic Launcher and after a reset it allows me into the main menu (with the popup about DX12 now being default) and crashes shortly into the session. When I exit from that menu screen and try to restart it won’t even load and goes straight to the screen informing me that the game crashed multiple times and whether I’d like to reset my settings.
If I do that I get back to the pop up menu informing me about DX12. WHen I manually set the game to DX11 it starts but crashes about 5mins into the play sessions and resets back to the DX12 starting screen.
I tried the recommended and optional AMD drivers with the same result.
I also tried the fullscreen vs windowed setting and tried graphics “medium” to “Ultra”.
I have to manually switch the motion blur off or I get motion sickness (plus headbob) and I capped the FPS at 60.
My system:
- Ryzen 2700
- RX 5700 Red Dragon
- 32 GB Ripjaws V
- SSD
Any idea what I can do to play the game? I verified in the Epic store as well.
