If it’s for April 1st, it will say it’s a Fibber on the SHiFT code, but it will actually be a random choice of a Whiskey Tango Foxtrot or a Bunny.

The Fibber can be broken on Nisha and Heartbreaker on Athena and I’ve seen on yt a comment about Oz Kit hidden in Holodome DLC but this thing can’t drop.
There’s the problem you trust the YT comment section.
If anything, we’ll get skins. LOL That is about all I see at this point. They missed some key days(holidays) which leads me to believe they’re done releasing anything other than skins.
Wouldn’t it be a great April Fools joke to offer skins as a shift code, but have it actually be the Fibber that is sitting in your shift machine to grab? That is a joke I can appreciate.

The sad thing is my skins are glitched out so I’ve already had all these Holiday skins for the most part since last March. So I get nothing new not even skins.

Weren’t the recent skins repeats from last year anyway? Or am I getting confused between BL2 and TPS?
They are new, they just released them with the Claptastic Voyage, but they hid them in the code to use as shift rewards later. Or at least that is what I assume.
And they maaay have been attainable if you completed an in game mini game in the CV. I just don’t know which skins were the reward for that.
It’s also possible that they ended up as extra-rare drops in the world loot pool? IDK - skins (and heads) seem to be funky in this game, at least compared to BL2.
Some of the skin drops are either broken or the drop rates are completely insane. I’m farming for skins now - in the past couple weeks I’ve done:

More than 100 runs to even-more-disgusting tork before I got one skin.

more than 100 runs at the Sentinal - no skin.

More than 200 runs at the bosun - got a skin relatively early on, but nothing since. The heads fall like rain.

more than 100 runs at Redbelly - no skins. Again, the heads fall a lot.

Tiny Destroyer dropped a skin after more than 70 runs.

Sponx has only ever dropped the fragtrap skin.

Badass torks have never dropped a skin in almost 50 runs of Outlands Canyon.

Powersuit noob and Deadlift drop their skins at high rates - Deadlift’s is certainly higher than 1-in-10.

RK5 supposedly doesn’t drop skins, but does drop 2 legendaries - supposedly - the sham and the Hellfire - in more than 50 runs, he’s dropped nothing. someone told me that his drops are bugged or something? Whatever the case, they sure as Hell aren’t 1-in-10 drops.

They did miss some key holidays.
Seems to me they no longer care about gear on this game. Skins are ok but it gets dull and boring after a while seeing skins and thats it being offered by them. Are they running out of ideas or are they just plain not trying to appease the masses anymore is anyones guess.
It seems at this point the gear is the way gearbox want it to be. Maybe they want to let the dust settle and let people play with the boomacorn and wet week and such before dropping more bombshells.

But it use to be pretty different then it is now. Valentines day you would get the heartbreaker, st patricks days you would get an smg. Thats the way it use to be. Now it seems just skins is all were getting from time to time. Thats my take on it.
Yeah, but that was BL2. The guns were designed for BL2. We literally got 5 new guns in the space of a few months. If it weren’t for things like Gibbed, we’d never know it was possible to have the rest.

True. But they could do something for this game too besides BL2. It is possible.
I’m just trying to make a point or point out that they could have done more then just skins like they did in BL2 but its just a dream i guess. Whats wrong with giving us a heartbreaker or something else during those holidays they skipped out on. Nothing right well thats my point. They could have done more but im in the minority here i guess.
I’m not saying they’ll NEVER give us the guns, just that it’s unlikely. Especially this year. They already added SEVERAL guns via shift code, that they had NO obligation to do, and you’re complaining because they won’t give you everything you want? Maybe they just want to space them out and let people play with the toys they have for a while.
If you want a Heartbreaker that bad just use Gibbed or something.
