And yet ISIC is still consistently S tier. Huh. He’ll probably get nerfed again, i wonder how people will react x3 they tend to react REALLY badly when they think a character is weak when hes already too strong.
They just made his wards utter ■■■■ so that overcharging has some “Use” to it. FFS the only reason to overcharge a skill is to buff his ult but now you have are forced to overcharge his shield since it’s basically not a skill uncharged. The wound is a joke because it applies for a such a small amount of time period that it’s effectiveness is rather paltry.

I don’t care about Ranking and Tiers… they can make mark him “Trash Tier” if he’s playable I don’t care.
If someone Marks someone “God Tier” or “S Tier” or whatever it doesn’t influence me… I’ll play and decide for myself.
Things like this are what leads to people always crying “He’s too Strong”, which then leads into that Nerfs.
People are exaggerating about Pendles at the Moment, but once they start using him, they will see his weakpoints.
I think the guys calling the shots for character changes should test play them Once on Normal, Once Advanced and Once in every Versus mode… THEN decide. AND THEN play again. But that would be seemingly to much work, right?
Nerf doesn’t make a character absolute trash.
Also, hes A tier for me due to his consistent damage and a shield and an ult that demolishes things, be it battleborn or sentries. And don’t tell me that his ult can be nulled with CC. A LOT of character ults can be stopped with CC. Not just isic.
Just play him better and land those charged shots. You’ll end up easily with 15 kills easily as generally all my isic matches go that way unless they surrender fast.
So if they buffed his hp by … 5 next patch, and then buffed his damage by 1 next patch, would he be S tier because DOUBLE BUFFS? I mean its starting to sound like it doesnt matter what a hero is actually capable of, just how many times in a row they got nerfed or buffed.
Lol his ult is probably the longest lasting ulti in the game the longer in his ult = higher dps so yes a CC in his ult is devastating. His ultimate is pointless 90% you get team focused and shut down. Rath can atleast deal some dmg before he gets CC while ISIC is painting a message saying “hey guys kill the giant robot with guns out” in his robot form.
His shields can block anything worth a damn since they nerfed them twice. A couple of shots from OM is enough to break the wards forcing me to block dmg with his ageis
But if I want to block with a shield I would play Boldur or Galilea

Isic’s thing is literally that pic where the guy is saying “good luck I’m behind 7 proxies” where you have to strip so much stuff just to reach his HP and that’s not considering the battle going on, the environment and his escape and damage.
They need to put his health back to the way it once was, he is way to squishy to be labeled as a tank.
Aside from the initial wards nerf , ANYTHING that nerfed his defenses since is just a dumb change. Yes, this includes the stun dash. The stun is basically nonexistent now. The reason he was so good is because his damage was stupid given is defenses. Well, he’s a tank, so just nerf the offense (And initial wards whcih was way too strong). I thought he was fine before. Now they just gave a charge time to a skill and got rid of his dash’s versatility for both offense and defense (Not even a great stun since you wanna save it to run). Ugh. And he dies too quick FFS. His HP, his wards, him in Ult. Everything dies too fast.
I’d still consider ISIC to be the strongest/most OP character in the game right now.
He’s labeled as a tank but doesn’t function as such.
If they’d give him back his Health or undo any other nerfs to him, they’d have to highly nerf his damage output.
Tank is a stupid term in this game to be honest and ISIC is still durable as ■■■■

My thoughts about the changes

They are, he’s being adjusted, due in part because of me ;o
Boldur only performs well as good as his team. If they are stupid then he has no one to follow up on his cc and damage which means that although he will have an impact there will be no progress (no point in going 10-2 on a BattleBorn when you team can’t push or every fight is a Pyrrhic victory). Boldur just has the bonus that he can survive encounters gone bad better, save more allies and or at least put up a fight until death.
Boldur is at a good spot but he must no be nerfed into a puddle of lame Kelvin is currently. Boldur just stands out because his competition got picked off but by bit that he went from like top 5 to top 3 as a melee BB but not game in total.
There’s also one IMPORTANT factor in evaluating ISIC vs. other tanks: Faction.
Each faction has a weakness; something they don’t do well mechanically or don’t have a character who fills that role because of thematic elements in the design of the faction. The Jennerit’s is range, because their culture values warrior ethos and close engagement. The UPR’s is healing/support because they consider troops to be expendable.
The LLC’s weakness is physicality/durability, because they’re all a bunch of science nerds. They don’t get a “real” tank, the same way UPR doesn’t get a “real” support.
From a balance standpoint, they rely on Shields to maintain durability. Look at their roster: Phoebe and El Dragon hit like thunder, but are both pretty squishy. Marquis is the game’s primary sniper. Kleese, until recently, was the squishiest of squishies with his giant hitbox but low HP. ISIC is what a non-tanky people come up with when they design a tank.
ISIC is still the only character with a ranged weapon and an alt-fire shield.
ISIC is still the character with the greatest duration on his “buff/alter state” Ultimate, and probably the biggest shift in damage capacity (competing with El Dragon, methinks.) Omega Strike still outperforms Runes of Power, Abyssal Form, Dual Wield, Mansformation, Miasma, and Overdrive in sheer game impact, particularly as concerns damage potential spread over an extended period of time. Why does an Ult-ing ISIC always get CC’ed? Because YOU NEED TO GET HIM OUT OF TANK MODE!!!
ISIC still has multiple methods to deploy his two skills based on Overcharging, and the Helixes that can alter it. He is more versatile than other tanks.
He still has a lot going for him.
He had his tankiness stripped from him. His wards are useless now
He is not a tank because of one ability. They are far from useless.
