This may not be a big to most of you but as someone who cares so much about this game and it’s character it does to me . Gearbox hasn’t said anything about character skins that are different than just recolors , and I know that images have leaked of what people saw in the beta but gearbox themselves haven’t said anything about them and this rumored different level of skin (1,2,3) the only thing I have heard about them is from other sources and since the game is already out its weird nothing the game says anything and gearbox hadn’t said anything either. Also this game seems like a clear candidate for microtransactions yet gearbox has announced that their will be none. Other games have started without any then got them later on (black ops 3, destiny) and it will be a real disappointment Ifor gearbox goes back on their word. It wouldn’t even bother me if their was micro transactions so then I could support the game but now that they have said they won’t do it we all expect and trust them not to.
Tier 2 and 3 skins will be patched in later.
You should check the forums and Reddit more often, buddy. There’s at least one dev that posts in them nearly daily. He’s also the source of that “rumor” you mentioned about the skins.
It’s coming with the first dlc. They posted this just recently, just use the dev tracker on these forums.
Next time please actually read it. I cleary state that nothing in the game says this, let alone the main website page. You shouldn’t have to go digging through forums to find it out not everyone has that time.
Sadly it has become a brand nowdays. Infos are never put in game or on website, even rarely on forums. Your number one source of news will be Twitter and sometimes reddit. This infuriates me with TV shows, when the showrunners failed at delivering a message in an episode but that’s alright! They fix it in the subsequent Let’s Talk or whatever.
This end up in potential info being exlusive to a few, and nothing more than a rumor to others. Kinda annoying… 
Oh, and Gearbox even had that thing going with SHiFT codes. They were almost exclusively distributed on their facebook or twitter so you had to subscribe. It may go the same way here with Battleborn. Fortunately, there will always be someone to compile and maintain a full SHiFT codes list somehwere on a wiki !
That’s a good point. Make the information known to all the fans, not just the ones that have nothing better to do than scour Gearbox and reddit forums. I really love this game, I believe it’s just misunderstood though.
You are confused. They have said there will be microtransactions. And you could have found the info on skins in less time than it took to start this thread.
It is true that more communication is always good, but they have been, just not the way you want them to.
Yes, and you also clearly said that Gearbox hadn’t mentioned it. Several times in fact. And I told you they had.
It is ridiculous to think that they will be able to tell everyone every bit of news in-game. Thus, they don’t try. The news is easily found on the forums, reddit, twitter, etc. A simple google originally found the information for me.

Also, did anyone mention the ‘dev tracker’ button? Up there on the menu? It’s pretty handy.
