I think i’m going to pull an Andy Dufresne and create a comment about this every day, until Gearbox gives us offline functionality. Randy Pitchford can be my Warden Norton.

Ah, maybe because it thought I hadn’t done the prologue, everything was locked, and so I couldn’t do anything. However, when I downloaded my stuff and started a match with the girlfriend, she had no characters. So that may be where I got confused.

Right now, we want new modes, new maps, dlc story missions, new skins, lore updates.

AFTER that, offline mode could be a priority.

All of which will be irrelevant if the game is still serverside when the servers are eventually shut down. Also, it would be nice to play one of my favorite games when i mysteriously lose Internet connectivity (fucking Comcast), or when they’re running maintenance or whatever the hell they’ve been doing now and then in the early morning. Finally, you say that as if we had to choose between the two.

I will admit that I check every news update on here for an offline story patch.

The day that they add a separate offline campaign save with it’s own leveling and gear is the day I buy this.
