Honestly there’s nothing the new skill trees or any dlc or game mode could add that would make me spend more money to still deal with the modifiers. Even just coming back for Krieg DLC felt like a chore to deal with modifiers.

Nice, was hoping we’d here more about it before the end of the month. Pretty iffy on a new mode, hope its not a pvp type deal. Will probably end up paying for it anyway, assuming its something the comes with the skill trees.

I won’t be buying Season Pass 2 until it goes on sale on steam for $2 AND I am bored enough with Assassins Creed: Valhalla AND every other game coming out this holiday season.
I am done with Gearbox on ALL preorders and anything full price from them…period.
They managed to go from Borderlands 2 being my favorite game of all time and series as well, to killing every bit of enthusiasm I have for Borderlands 3.
Didn’t think it was possible but congratulations Gearbox.

I agree. As much as it’s fun to have floor is lava, buddy system, pool party etc it gets annoying after a while and I don’t want to keep dealing with death ghosts or avoiding pool party AoE on M10 because it’s a difficulty my build can easily mob with.
I don’t mind having the modifiers every now and then but there are times I wish I just want to play M10 with the +10,000% health, shield and armor without the modifiers.

Well let’s see then how much it will cost when I got my ps5. Got already everything from this game for the half of released price and tbh kind of sick and upset about the performance on the ps4. Will get it 2021 with a ps5 together. Not going to spend more money to play this game on ps4 and just enyoy the old stuff for a while.

“Nice” step from gearbox, add one more season pass. From this moment i will never buy any game from you, any product etc. Only torrent . And i hope most of us will not buy second season pass.

Based on the “support” for this game so far, I won’t be spending any more money on it…
What would change my mind would take a pretty large change that would render most of the bizarre and interesting guns useful all the way up to Mayhem 10. Without that, replaying the game doesn’t give any reward worth getting.

Mortal Kombat Armageddon actually had a really well done Kombat Kart mini game, this type of new mode would be pretty cool to see, plus all guns would be useful in taking down other racers

The problem is they come on here and basically announce nothing. There’s the arms race mode which we know nothing about aside from its name and Randy’s vague comments, no info about the second mode at all and we still don’t even know the price which will be a break or make for many, which might be intentional, and all that about 2 weeks from launch.
The only thing we know about are the new skill trees, which are being discussed elsewhere and we knew about them for a few months now.
Not that I disagree with you about the players base discontent but sadly there isn’t really anything to say here

Been reading about it and it sounds promising. Gearbox screwed the pooch on this one and now they’re gonna try and charge fans ALL OVER again to be beta testers. Hahaha.

and I personally think they should make this “Season Pass 2” FREE for their incompetence.

I think they should fix the things that do not work.
And fix the thing (in my case) that they purposefully removed in June.
dorian.odet above makes an excellent point. They Announced this 8 Days ago, yet the thread is a ghost town.
I suspect there are fewer than a Quarter of the original player-base left.
I think their image for BL3 is apt, they not only shot themselves in the foot, they also went for the head!
