Been waiting for this day I really hope they learned that this was a terriblely long and annoying event, and I hope there’s no Christmas event with flying snowballs or I’m just done lol.

The Ghost can go away, but I hope my Zane can still get his skins and stuff, he still needs to go 15 times into that Heck Hole thing and kill some rare spawns. The others all finished it already, he is now the last to finish it.

I checked with 1after i finished with another… the skin was already there, as well as the new character i made last week…
They should have just made the ghosts and terror anointments only appear while you have the quest active. I wish they hadn’t lowered the global terror anointment rate as there were still some specific things I wanted and it came with very little in the way of warning.

I did it all with three VHs but Zane now and thought every one must do it to get his stuff?!

Well, I mean there was at least a reason to hunt those ghosts that way, but it definitely would have been better if that Heck Hole would simply stay open after you did it once or at least after 25 times or/and also after the event is over. I mean the Heck Hole at least is/was new content, so taking it away means taking content (a whole world) away.
I remember that those event things stayed available and accessible anytime in BL2. The only real issue with that BL3 event is that the whole game got infested with Ghosts even if the mission wasn’t selected.

My thought process when the event started:
Oh, there’s flying skulls now? Hmm, okay.
Oh, they have kind of decent health? I guess I’ll manage.
Oh, they apply terror and screw with your accuracy? That sucks.
Oh, they cryo you? Slow you to a snail’s pace? Fly through solid objects? Shoot at you from within said object? Are literally EVERYWHERE at all times?
Yeeaahhh, that’s gonna be a nah from me dawg.
I’m of the opinion that flying enemies in games like this should not be competent. I think the ghosts should be pretty much one-shotable for anyone, especially given how common they are. Also the visual pollution they create when they fly, explode, hit you, or when you’re terrified is a bit/lot much. The terror effect is annoying but at least using terror anointments can remove the penalties. The constant cryo effect from badass ghosts though, is waaayyyyy over the line in my opinion. It’s made the shaft pretty rough when you’re moving that slow all the time. I’ve been pretty much farming graveward for the past month now because I can’t stand to mob with all the insanity. Also why is it so long? I would have been happy with 2-3 weeks.

In my perfect world they would put a fast travel in heck and make it permanent, and have it be the only place where ghosts and terror anoints drop. So the ghosts would be out of the rest of the game but still accessible to people who want them, the anointment pool wouldn’t be diluted, and we would still have Haunt. I guess I can dream.

For the love of god let the next ‘event’ just be an ‘event’ i.e. a couple of weeks at most.
If Halloween lasts 6 weeks, how the heck long does Christmas last? until Easter?

I liked the ghosts, they were a easy second wind and I’ve had so many legendaries drop from them. Also was the vindicator ghast call a real thing? If so I would be willing to trade for one. Gt is Ye_olde_wolf. Rip captain haunt I won’t forget the 75 or so runs I did trying to get that damn facepuncher with 25% chance for terror on melee. (Never did get it to drop!! Had to trade for it)
I don’t want them gone, cause that means no longer Heck map available and the best boss fight in the game
