If you do that’ll be awesome
Giblets are awesome, even if it’s not a shock bobble head death.
Fastball for the frag (not necessarily any more gibs, I think: the ragdoll just gets replaced with some Physx goop?) Also, as I think about it… I don’t think I’ve gibbed one (that wasn’t a full body frag with overkill like this) that wasn’t from a well-placed headshot? That may be what the original poster is after.

Also, here’s an old video of a midget Goliath getting enraged and eating a Fastball in slow motion:
Eh, that’s pretty weak. It’s not really true gibs… It’s kind of like some minor cartoon-y meat and blood thing… Not really gore.
This topic has made 4 life altering questions (concerning ethics) from my very young very smart (apparently) nephews. Some of what they’ve asked was “concerning”, at the least, (Chinese spanking in the making).
Those really are nothing compared to Borderlands elemental death animations. The shock one was freaking glorious…
The enemy will drop to their knees screaming as their skin flies off revealing their skull, then the eyes pop, it’s amazing. In BL2 and TPS they just go “Ablabablablabalb” and that’s really it, which really is weak compared to BL.
Drew the line at torque vending machine, 4 the younger ones, myself eh…W.T.F in love and war.
Call me childish but I love cartoon gore. Signed
Those pictures are nice and all, but nothing compared to the Borderlands 1 giblets. Skull fragments, and all.
And yet, BL1 gore is still nothing compared to Fallout 1 and 2 gore. Come on GBX, do it! When I use a corrosive gun, I want to see their flesh and organs melt off of their body into a puddle of blood and bile. ![]()
BL1: headshot and shock death. Are the right eyeball and skull fragment the only two giblets from shock death? In the lowest pic, these pieces haven’t quite flown out of the target’s head. In BL2, shocked targets take the same death animation, but don’t gib.

Really miss those too.
But the Hawk-Eye w/ Zer0 blows heads off. Not as good as BL 1 ones though.
Yeah, FO 1/2 gore was one of a kind. Shame we won’t see more of it though. Due to those mature ratings or whatever.
Does anyone remember Postal 1 & 2 for the PC?
Crazily gory and hilariously offensive!
That’s another I miss from BL, seeing XP on kill even at level cap… and another thing I miss from BL, decent XP. lol
Yeah, you could go to the Eridian Promontory at level 50 on Pt 2.5 and get to 69 in just a few hours!
I’m not fan #1 of crazy amounts of swearing but I found it really blatant in TPS that they tried to curb it. One of the worst examples is right at the beginning of the game when Jack sees Zarp and says “Son of a taint”… that seems so out of character for Jack and so out of place in that part of the scene that it ruined the feel of “oh ■■■■ there’s a giant mech thing in front of me!”.
The second obvious part is when you get separated on Helios after teleporting up there. Both Jack and Lilith say “Crap” like it’s no big deal and instead of sounding urgent or distressed they sound more inconvenienced which seemed way out of place imho.
I found it somewhat humorous but yeah, replacing “taint” with the appropriate word to complete the saying would’ve been more than acceptable given that there is that pesky mech blocking us from our escape pod/ship.

[/quote]I… don’t remember that part but on my next time through there I’ll try to listen more closely to what they’re saying. One possible reason it didn’t sound genuine is that maybe they were hoping that the mercs/VHs/Body Double would get killed thus making it easier for them to spoilers.
blow up the eye of helios and Jack.
Truth be told, the electric death doesn’t really have a single explosion of giblets like what can happen, although rarely, in BL2 but they do have an interesting death animation and bits of the skull and eye do fly off over time as they are screaming/dying which is more than what usually happens in BL 2 & 3 which is a single usually small explosion of blood but then that’s it, no real agony from being on fire or anything (except for the Vault Hunters who usually act as if they really were on fire or dipped in acid or being zapped with a cattle prod)
I’m for it. They could even do a DLC campaign and call it Gib (pause)(pause). Or no Gib. Hosted by Mister Torgue High Five Flexington.
“To gib or not to gib…That is the question”.
