Yeah the map is awesome, which is even more buffling and revealing on how out of touch they are with the playerbase when they want to make this temporary.

Will really miss it once it’s gone… All these mini events should be permanent (or at least on a monthly loop) and on a toggle.

I would like it better if the mobs actually dropped some loot and Zane’s drone delivery worked. Instead I go through all of my ammo just getting to the fountain and get no drops. The drops inside aren’t any better until you get to Joey.

I do love the vibe and a lot of the art. I actually like the mini-bosses and their diversity. I would like it more if it hadn’t been linked with M2.0.

The only thing I don’t like is that boss fight mostly because the room needs to be larger especially with the trip wires and acid baths.

It co-launched with MH2.0, but you can run it without mayhem mode on. Or did you mean you’d just rather not have have received MH2.0 at all?

Just that my impressions of it were tainted by the co-launch with 2.0. While I think the cartels is like a 9/10 content M2 is like a 2/10 content.

Absolutely, the whole Cartel event has been great. I love how they just warp into the battle field. Why can’t we have a modifier like that that is actually FUN??

Unfortunately, this event will always bring back memories of Mayhem 2.0 for me. Its tarnished by that.

The event itself is great. The map, music, and characters are all top notch.
I really and truly wish it had not been mixed in at the same time as MH2.0

One thing that has been a staple in BL3 are good maps, music, and ambience.
Both DLCs the environments have been great. DLC2 has been marred with loot drop issues from day one, and on PS4 certain items have still been unobtainable. But overall the environments, music, and characters have been really really good.

Just hoping the gameplay itself, crashes, etc get fixed at some point.

I also agree that it’s a job well done,having played all 3 events it is as good if not better than the Harvest and the Valentine’s one was too short and really lacked content,All in all I’ve enjoyed everything so far,On this note Thx Gbx.

I actually can’t stand Josie Byte’s voice acting - she sounds like a mis-cast actor to me. But I agree that the event and the map is terrific. I love how the mansion has so many different areas, all with different layouts that give different dynamics to the gameplay. Great attention to aesthetic detail, too.

But it’s not just the mansion. The presence of the cartel has enriched the entire game - I just love seeing the beacons after I’ve downed an informant, knowing that the battle’s about to get more interesting!

I feel the same. I love the Cartel event. However, my enjoyment of the event has been tainted with the M2.0 scaling issues and the borked drop rates of items including sketchy “hotfixes” that seem to do nothing.

I feel like if they had applied the 100% anointed item rule to M6 and above it would have allowed people to at least adjust the mayhem level down to a more fun and better scaled game without losing the one positive change to the insane farming system we have had since launch but alas that didn’t happen.

This has been the best event I’ve played in Borderlands…I want that mansion in real life!!
