For horror-themed anime, I would recommend “Blood: The Last Vampire”. Some other good anime include “Kite” (a school girl assassin), “Serial Experiments Lain” and probably one of the best Anime series ever “Cowboy Bebop”.

Serial Experiments Lain is one messed up series. First 2 episodes really messed with my head.

P.S.: I need to figure out how to reply without them being seen as separate posts, but ones that stay hidden. Well they do, but they also appear as separate for some reason. Is this normal lol?

Haven’t watched GitS yet, but I did watch Blood: the Last Vampire, Kite and Jin Roh. Good stuff. Should I watch GitS movie first or the series?

Also Elfen Lied looks interesting. I will definitely check it out as well. Any other dark and twisted anime to look out for? What about the one where a fat ■■■■■■■■ giant is stampeding through old town streets and is about to squash the towns people, possibly getting it’s ass kicked by some flying person? I know one forumer here made a funny gif out of that giant. Probably Ice Car.

Nyah Titans are childsplay - try BERSERK. I´d prefer the comic, the anime is not as bloody^^

I’ll have to watch Berserk as well but first Cowboy Bebop. Elfen Lied is for the messed up anime type so I’m all set for now.:smiley:

The English dub for “Redline” is actually pretty good. That aside Summer Wars is a good one, and Ghost in the Shell: Solid State Society was pretty crazy.

Also, “Expelled from Paradise” has a good English dub cast – Steve Blum, Johnny Young Bosch, Wendee Lee.

Sounds interesting. Need to check it out. My anime time has been cut down drastically, now with my Xbox and Battlefront and all, but I’ll definitely be hunting for more anime soon. You can never have enough.:smiley:
