I paid money for this game. Not in any way saying this is as bad or worse as black people being killed by police, but a company breaking a product i paid for and delaying the fix over an unrelated issue is also injustice albeit slight injustice.

Racism and police brutality is a real issue not just in America but worldwide. Are any of us really surprised that an inclusive company like Gearbox, that has at least one black employee, is willing to put a pause on their development cycle to stand with those that are actually hurting? Those that once again are seeing another person that could have been, or is someone close to them being murdered? This is bigger than George Floyd, Michael Brown, Breonna Taylor, or Ahmaud Arbery. (all from this year) We remember Emmett Till (14 years old), Amadou Diallo, Eric Garner, Trayvon Martin (17 years old), Tamir Rice (12 years old), Sandra Bland, Freddie Gray, Sean Bell, LaQuan McDonald and countless others that didn’t make the news, that were brutalized with no one around to record it. And again, this happens nearly everywhere. But you’re calling not being able to sink more hours into your 1s and 0s an INJUSTICE. That’s so ignorant, it’s scary.

I feel like the people that are coming out of the woodwork to cry on the internet about this are the same types that were butthurt over FL4K not using “he/him/his” pronouns and you honestly should be ashamed of yourselves. To be so unconcerned with real sh** that you can’t take a minute to realize how blessed you are to even be able feel that way. There is more to life than your silly video game. How about you read a damn book or go outside and see what’s really going on? Because you can’t escape reality forever. Or if you think you can, maybe play another game in the meantime.

You guys are not tough. Gearbox knows good and well that once the update drops, all of you will be playing BL3 as soon as you get your hands on a controller.

Yup def re-downloaded it as soon as I saw all the terrible posts again.

It’s not like I don’t support the issues at hand, this is just a separate issue that gearbox tied in with BLM to look good as every company was afraid of backlash.

Also lets not tie in eric garner (hands up dont shoot was a lie, the officer didnt fire on him till after he resisted arrest, tried to grab the officers gun, charged at him multiple times, then one final charge the officer felt his life was in danger) or freddy gray (brought to court 4 different times and all concluded he injured himself im the van, officers tried to handcuff his legs to stop him from hurting himself, and he still bashed into the van eventually injuring himself enough to die. Witnesses not called to stand because none of their stories matched up) you dilute the issues when you bring up cases that are tragic yet not related
