[Guide] Nisha's skills for Tenderfoot

There is mine chuck let me know what you think

I as a forum member like the idea of one up to 4 stars. Its fairly easy to read and for those who are colourblind, its easier to read than the colored versions of the old forum.

I never thought about the colorblind thing, good point. Though it was still possible for them to know the ratings, it’s much easier on the eyes with symbols.

I’ve noticed something about Unforgiven while fighting the sentinel. If you send the Sentinel into his next phase when coming out of showdown, if you stand too close to the Sentinel, the Unfogiven’s nova can kill you. For a long time I had no clue why I was randomly getting health-gated or killed. But it’s actually that the Unforgiven can kill you with its nova. I have not experienced this while mobbing, but it happens quite often during the Sentinel fight, regular and raid versions.

Chuck, perhaps trying to include hidden benefits to the skills, such as Bona Fide grit actually supplying a 70% buff when maxed out, which makes it a better skill IMO.

Also how trick shot doesn’t actually give a debuff (To the furthest extent of my knowledge).

Added mentions on both skills, thanks

Great resource, Chuck. Thanks for posting.

New-to-Nisha question: How is the explosive damage for Crack Shot and Unforgiven calculated? Is it fixed or relative to damage dealt?

That’s one of the things i’m wondering too.

Well, I know that with Unforgiven it’s not related to the damage dealt, it’s fixed

But I don,t know if the crack shot explosive nova is dependent on the number of skill points in crack shot.
if it’s not, it might be worth it to always have at least one point in crack shot just for the off chance you get one.

Short fused deserves at least 3 stars. under the right conditions (cryo and tombstone) its even more powerful than the original attack. at least mention its potential.

I just want to add something. Tombstone seems to work with melee. I discovered this as I was whipping my way to save ammo to fight Nel on Normal difficulty. I am not sure if it works with bladed weapons though I’ll have to test it out.

It does.

Could you post a layout of the most ideal build for Nisha, I am trying effectively distribute her points; however I am not looking to achieve a specific type of build ie. hybrid, melee or L&O. I am looking for max damage as possible, so I am asking for any input or experience.

I could post my favorite build, but posting the ā€œbest possible buildā€ is simply not feasible.

what is a good skill to use with some items is completely useless with some other. And with only ā€œmax damageā€ as a goal, you’ll create a build that can’t take a hit or will run out of ammo in 45 seconds.

So posting a ā€œbest possible build for max damageā€ is not even gonna be a useful thing…

I have a build that I use most of the time and it works very well with most guns, and has very good survivability.

With a purple Sheriff COM and a Tranquility Oz Kit

It doesn’t work too well with Jakobs weapons and snipers though.

Otherwise, you can have a look at @Sljm’s coldsplosion build. His builds are notorious for the extreme DPS they are capable of producing.

Or have a look at the Toybox

Take a look at Chucks skill point layout above, fire on a crapshooter, Chronicler or celestial class mod and go nuts.

A bullpup, Tediore splitters and a variety of other rapid fire weapons make this setup the simplest and most effective IMO.

How about now? I’d like to see this brightened up.
Man, she has many crappy skills.
With the update, I’ll get all the skills I want.

The damage from Wanted when boosted by a COM is good or it’s just a poorly scaled ranked skill, like the most of BL2 were?

Even boosted by a COM It was just OK before UVHM, not even worth considering as a damage source now.
it doesn’t scale differently in UVHM as far as I know.

The two unwanted skills: Pickpocket & Gunslinger…

…after the latest DLC they may have a use now. If you enjoy the new glitched weapons, these two skills can be very useful to extend the glitch effect durations, because those put bullets into magazine without reloading. You can literally have the glitch effect constantly , if you can manage your magazine by using these two skills timely.

Quick stupid question about Order stacks: the smaller the max health, the faster the Order stack building via taking damage, right?

As for my favorite luck cannon build, I like using this very cookie cutter one:

Slap on a blue Cowgirl or the vanquisher for guaranteed double shots when tombstone flakking bosses, chronicler for general mobbing, and crapshooter for the less flakkable bosses / shooting the ground and the walls and have stuff die.

Yes, but the lower your max health, the less benefit you gain from those stacks… it’s a balancing act.

The Cowgirl is perfect for that since it also boosts FNU, which increase your swap speed.
