In other words: It’s an anointment that has no synergy with either com, but can be increased through fire and weapon damage boosts.
Reason I say it’s better on MS than BM is because it gains nothing at all from BM, but with MS at least it has a function of still working with non-splash guns and guns without 160 anointments possible that you might want to use.
In hindsight, I should’ve mentioned that it was decent option before M2.0 for guns like the Clairvoyance. I don’t think it has as much use now but I haven’t really tried it at all recently as I never really liked the anointment.
I suppose it’s probably good on GM.
On a side note Sonic, is there an anointment section in your MS build? I couldn’t remember and I scrolled it a few times. Am I missing it or?

Anyone know if GM can get +3 in click, click now?
Edit: I have seen ones with +3 click, click but not sure if gearbox fixed it or if it’s just a modded com going around.

Yeah, it was not a must have annoint like the 300v2 but I just felt it was good because the less of a need to swap guns. Im lazy I guess?
Anyway, tbh I think this kinda of annoint is better used in specific cases. A 125 n2m Krakatoa or Lob woult melt health bar bosses like Graveward, and the 160% Splash didnt benefit both of them. But now we have CH and 300v2 so it lost its place imo.
The only scenario I can think the 125 n2m being good is with the BL if the gun cant spawn 160% splash. Even so, we have now the unRad that is a better neutral bonus to pair with Fire/Corrosive/Cryo.
I would still use a Maliwan gun with it, thou.
Anyway, I think Im getting a little off topic by now so lets agree that it is not a good annoint right now or a niche annoint at best.

my personal build thread, yes. it also has recommended anointments for most gear that’s presented, and talks about anointment usage quite a bit when discussing COM and artifact stats and applications. the 300v2 hasn’t been added to a lot of the old weapons on the list, mostly because kaoson, sandhawk, and the new launchers are so much stronger with MS.
its a modded one being passed around.

I thought if a skill can have 3 points, the max it can get from a com is 3 points as well? So a +3 Click should be expected from a GM com??

green monster has been unable to drop with more than +1 to click click since its release in december. it may be a bug, but at this point it seems intentional.

Low-Life class mods can spawn with +3 Click Click, I don’t see why it would be intentional.
Sorry I meant the guide, not the build.

low life COMs also don’t give a 100% splash bonus and 100% bonus corrosive damage. extra points in CC directly impact the output of the COMs effects at a pretty high rate. hitting 6/3 CC and 7/5 SRPM is already on par with a 3CC/2DM low life, and would have a very significant impact on output before adding in the legendary COM effects. it would accommodate stacking a more than significant amount of gun damage out of only a few skills with little to no restrictions or gimmicks, and then the ability to stack multiple bonus element effects at high rates.
sure, CC was still 12% per rank when GM came out, but they also only had original mayhem 3 data when the COM was conceptualized, which was arguably more significant then than now.
only in how they relate to the math. I haven’t updated it with 300v2 because its just a different number from a similar source (OGT). I should list it in the possible bonuses to micro-nades section though, which i’ll do now.
Yeah GM uses the DLC1 skill part so it seems like that specifically is bugged in the code.
But, we can’t really know about their weird intentions sometimes either
Ok, just wasn’t sure if I was completely looking over an anointment section.

I see, that’s what I was thinking, thanks!
Sorry if I wasn’t clear enough, but I was referring to if the combination of the 300/90 anoint with the minesweeper micro nade was enough to kill most enemies, so the increased chance for the micro nade to crit with PtHP was overkill and the points could be invested somewhere else.
Now I know lol, thanks again.

Does the 30% chance for grenades to crit also count for your own grenades hitting you in the face?
Maybe it’s just me but the last few days I’ve noticed my CMT coming back to bite me a LOT. I don’t mean walking into it or being too close to an enemy when they impact, but literally turning on me and hunting me down!
Probably just in my head but been playing MS for a while and they never seemed quite so filled with hateful intent before.

Yeah, you can crit yourself with PTHP.
Ha! Well that’ll be it then. The range of boosted TCP still takes me by surprise, especially with the OPQ. However far away you think you are, it’s not far enough.
I can keep the distance. It’s those CMT that make their way back to me and then happen to proc TCP and PtHP. That with the damage I’m already taking from mobs puts me in FFYL and if I get hit with a CMT mirv and it procs a micro nade… The first hit gets health gate and the micro finishes the job
If your CMT is actually hunting you down, an enemies knocked it back at you. Otherwise, being caught in the radius can crit you and it really hurts.

I personally hope they make a legendary embers blaze with fire immunity, that alone would make using splash weapons a lot safer.
