I don’t think so either. I just said it should be noted that the particular weapon has such a great range and it really affects it’s performace from being just good to amazing. I don’t think it should be left off the list just that people should be informed, it’s not something that applies to every weapon - For example even though the Cutsman has a pretty wide damage range too even the lowest roll is super amazing.

yeah another good example of a weapon with massive variation is the conference call. a base 5 pellet one barely does anything, but a redundant one with the right foregrip and magazine is unreal damage.

i’m using BM and a DW skill spread for my setup, and with 2/1 redistribution my ammo keeps up just fine with the headsplosion, so long as i don’t miss.

Conference Call cannot legitimately spawn with the Redundant grip. It can only spawn with the grips for increased crit damage/damage or weapon sway/fire rate. In terms of gear ranges, Purple gear tends to have it far worse than legendary. It’s especially evident on things with a wide projectile range like Jakobs shotguns.

Yeah I had 1/1 redis and I miss shots. Keeping those 2 things in mind I can still keep up my mag with WI easy and not with Headsplosion, just something to consider.

Yeah the Stagecoach is a good example. I think I’ve seen as little as 12 pellets and it goes up to 25.

Or jakobs snipers. They have the highest parts variation in game, with some variants being well below 3k card, and a perfect muckamuck being 5.3k card.

Are Hellfire and Hornet any good? Both are splash guns and seem more accurate for something like the Mind Sweeper than Maliwan guns.

Hellfire isn’t worth it in the least. If you insist on a fire smg with splash, get a Kyb’s Worth, Westergun, or even a Boomer. Hornet is decent.

Damn, I forgot about Boomer being the better Hellfire

In my current quest to test out any non-unique guns that have potential to shine, I feel like the Torgue Kielbasa is worthy of an honorable mention. I’m referring specifically to a version of it where it drops with just a single projectile on the card.

It’s practically a shotgun that fires like a heavy-hitting grenade launcher and although the one I just tested doesn’t have a good anointment, it has 5.5k damage on the card which is not that far off Torgue launchers at all. I was landing critical hits in the region of 120-150k damage and that’s taking into account that my GR rank is disabled so Overkill had no influence in those numbers.

To summarise in short, I would say the Bangstick with its plethora of projectiles is obviously the better choice for bossing, but the Kielbasa feels better and more reliable when mobbing.

The Triple Penetrating Bangstick can be good on a Mind Sweepr build since the micro nades scale off the based damage of the weapon.

So I captured some screenshots of what it looks like when you throw an Epicenter that explains why it’s so effective at Vampyr full heals and proccing MOD.

So to start, there are 14 “balls” that expand from the initial impact location.

balls exploding on initial impact

So it appears to me that the initial impact has 15 explosive hits on a direct target.

15 huh, so the initial hit + all 14 orbs. Makes sense why it often returns multiple grenades for a single direct hit.

For anyone that uses a Deathless Bloodletter build (5/5 Vampyr), if you have 8k to 12k max health you’ll get 24k to 36k shield back on a single direct hit. The Spring version would get more but not consistently double.

I haven’t tried it since the patch yet but I feel like a Short Fuse Breath of the Dying setup is going to be strong AF for Moze.

Ruby’s Wrath just might end up as top gear, initial tests feel pretty good.

Agreed, Ruby’s Wrath is great with a BBB… Definitely fun to mob with. Might have to put aside my chain build for a bit…

Depending on how Kaos explosions work, could be good as well.

Watch yourself with the Kaos – you will blow yourself up, if you’re not careful.

Check out the card damage on the Juju now; you could definitely do something with that and the Green Monster.

Who needs Bottomless Mags tree… Ha

I know folks have been joking around, but the Lob meta is real.

I’ve heard people say it still needs improvement…? I have one in my bank I haven’t tested today yet

I think only Moze can make it shine honestly. I tried it on Fl4k and it was less then impressive, LazyData mentioned it being still lackluster on Zane but I didn’t try that.
