[Guide] Top Gear for Nisha

I think Keep it to 6 more than 6 and there’s really no point in tg. The problems is that mob runs are inconsistent when they’re one ofs cuz there’s variation in mobs, tombstone crits glitches etc.

The logistic issue is that we would need multiple tests (at least three) for let’s say two to three candidates from each manufacturer to get any respectable results.

If anyone can tell me how to nisha for speeding and give me a static build to test with. I’ll try to do my part, but singleton mob runs won’t give us empirical results. Not to belittle @Ha_Na’s effort of course. We just need more.data, as a community.

Still, it gives us a rough idea of where each stands.

The prol revolution isn’t top gear: it’s not as good as an Anarchist on Nisha (who relies on reload skills)
But it’s still faster than the Shootarang… i’m…conflicted

Maggie needs to move up indeed.

Nah, it’s cool. I love these suggestions, even those I shoot down, so don’t let that stop you from suggesting further stuff in the future.

What I COULD do however, is organize them by auto/semi-auto. That would make a lot of sense

Top 3 for semi-auto would be done already. (LC, Maggie and Iron/Pepperbox)
Top 3 for auto is looking good so far with Slapper, Taser and Shootarang.

I could add an extra entry for each category…but only if necessary (which doesn’t look like it so far)

Since you dont have HMs you can use the subheading (Double Hashtag) to branch of auto and semi auto if you want.

The fun thing about the prol revolution is, that you can reload it even when it’s full.

Edit: just noticed the implications. Continuously reloading without needing to shoot = fast fast l’n’s stacks for claptrap, esp. with a reload prefix.

I see. The auto/semi auto organization looks good enough. Or you can call it Jakobs/Non Jakobs guns haha

Technically Dahl is also semi auto in the conventional sense

Really?

Oh well, there’s that

I don’t think there is a reload prefix for pistols…

The only Dahl pistol that might have made it is the Gwen’s other head. Highest Type B crit bonus in the game, and it can be doubled, can come in cryo and has great stats all around… Too bad it wastes one bullet each time it shoots. Without that gimmick it would be at least in the discussion. I know trick shot mitigates some of the loss but it’s still a net loss.

@Ha_Na if your available could you humor me an do a run with a Dahl Railgun. I just wanna know if its a thing.

I’m not home, can get on it tomorrow evening or Sunday morning soonest. Dahl rail gun without ADS is a pretty bad idea though, and doesn’t necessarily work well with nisha’s toolset

I figured one would ADS with the Dahl railgun, there’s not much nonbo there. I just figured if anyone could abuse a 6 burst laser of Justice it would be Nisha.

I got one question about COMs.
Both Crapshooter and Six-Shooter support a Jakobs playstyle with the card and skills bonus. Both of them have place in the TG.
But, what about the Cowgirl?
I have been thinking about it afer we hijacked the thread about the Jakobs pistol build. Just forget Gunslinger and think about Hell’s Coming With Me! and Faster 'n You. With 95℅ chance to shot twice, doesnt all the fire rate bonus start to count for Jakobs weaponry? If the Pepperbox can spawn with the double shot acc, it should look like an automatic gun! Same for the Gatling Gun, I guess.

I’m not sure I follow you.

You can think of the Fire rate on a Jakobs gun as a “ceiling”
they shoot as fast as you pull the trigger… up to the Gun’s fire rate. Hell’s doesn’t change that, it just…fires one shot for free. the fire rate is not affected by that extra shot

And the Cowgirl COM was one that I liked… and would like to like more… but if unsustainable ammo consumption is already a problem for Nisha, what room is there for the fastest shooting COM she has ?

Make that ammo bonus closer to 200 instead of 50 and we could start that discussion… or give us a stupidly powerful pistol with a very very slow fire rate to compensate (Like the Rex in BL2 for example) and this COM may shine. But we’re pretty much faced with the opposite: every gun is already fast enough for Nisha, so we go to damage boosting COMs instead.

The thing is that you can not pull the trigger fast enough to keep up with the fire rate, so all of Nisha’s buffs like Unchained are wasted on Jakobs weaponry.
With Hell’s Coming With Me! the game kinda helps you with pulling the trigger, doesnt it? This way you can benefit more of your fire rate bonus, I guess. I dont know if it actually works this way.
Also, Im not talking only about pistols. Imagine a Gatling Gun with 95% chance to shot two bursts of 3 bullets each at high fire rate. Or even a Diaub hiting like crazy that large crit spot. Oh my!

I understand what you’re saying, but it doesn’t work that way. Hell’s is simply extra shots ON TOP of your fire rate.

Else it wouldn’t do anything for automatic weapons.

With an auto weapon, holding the trigger makes you shoot at the gun’s fire rate …and Hell’s makes it shoot even faster.

If you can click at a fire rate of 5, and your Jakobs gun has a fire rate of 10, and you have 100% chances of double shot, you will functionally have a fire rate of 10, but that doesn’t mean you’ve reached the cap… you could still shoot faster if you clicked faster… Up to twice as fast. And Hell’s would follow suit making your effective fire rate 20.

I have no idea how fast an average player can pull the trigger, neither do I know if I can keep with the fire rate. But, theorycally speaking, if a Jakobs gun can reach the fire rate cap (15 on console, in my case) with the help of skills like Unchained and Faster 'n You, Hell’s Coming With Me! would double it, making it 30 functionally fire rate.
If this could hapen in game, hell, would be awesome!

Console fire rate cap is 30, and that last cap is ABSOLUTE… as in, even with theoretically more fire rate, you would not benefit from it, as the console works in 30 frames per second. (so one bullet per frame is the most the game can do, unless your gun fires more than one at a time (like the Fridgia or a Two-fer pistol)

But otherwise, yes, your analysis is right

I think you both are essentially saying the same thing, whatever fire rate your gun is at or you can reach hells at 95% will essentially double that said fire rate, regardless of if the guns are Jakobs or automatics. In the case of automatics there is a soft cap on fire rate where you start getting very diminishing returns and hells at 95% would allow an easy way to go far beyond that cap. In the case of Jakobs, you can only pull the trigger so fast unless your using a turbo button or something like that, and hells is the only way to double whatever fire rate your capable of putting out with a jakobs gun. So you guys are both right and stuffs, hells is super awesome that’s all that i see being said here :stuck_out_tongue:

Also in regards to what your saying chuck, wouldn’t hells at 95% allow the gun to essentially act as a two fer in this case? has that been tested and proven or dis-proven?

95% Hell’s = guaranteed double shots.

I’ve been using that to one shot Eclipse/EOS with the help of some morally questionable flakker swaps. Now if there was a COM that boosted Hell’s and Tombstone…
