I got it in like a dozen attempts or so, and that successful run seemed like things went pretty lucky for me (still some real close calls). I think my being level 42 was a BIG help though, because I probably had like +80% base health from those extra levels, and then on top of that was running Leg. Soldier with +3 in Healthy (and like 3-4 points in the skill) and a Vitality relic, so I was rocking like 25000+ health and Able’s 2% of max regen too. I mostly used the NE Orc I had got from doing the magic slaughter to kill the dragons. I made pretty heavy use of the defense shrine in there too (would alternate between that and ammo shrine to keep my ammo pools and health up). The turret was a huge help too, since I have majority of my points into Guerilla tree (and have rocket pods+slag for the turret). I also think I used all my Fastballs right away on Heliath when I first got him to land, which chunked him out pretty good (especially since turret had him slagged).
I’ve never done any raids in normal, that’d be so weird.
In fact, the only time I’ve done any DLC outside from UVHM/OP levels is on my main Zer0. I did a speed run through Tina’s in TVHM so I could farm the dragons for eridium.
Doing the raids in normal mode is really funny. It is weird cause you dont have all the skills/gear you want, so seems as hard as doing it in the end game with the top gear and skill tree maxed out.
Incinerator will set the whole arena floor on fire if you bring him down enough times without killing him. Then death by fire dots unless you have a really nice bee.
Yup…found this out the hard way…
And the shame of it was I DO have an Inflammable Bee but I had switched to a Blockade thinking it was “safer” and I only had Incinerator left.
Huge mistake.
The ONE time I won…I kept the Bee on the full time.
Still don’t know how it happened because I screwed up a LOT during that fight. But for whatever reason…the Dragons just weren’t raining sh%$ on me constantly.
Yeah. I learned it the hard way as well. I saw this video of a speed kill in like 1:30 and was like, wow I can totally do that. Then I tried. And I died…and i died again…and again…yeah that about covers it. But I finally did it once. In like 2 minutes. Perfect behavior from the dragons. I emulated this video.
I used the exact same method…Man of Low Moral Fiber…
And I did it just once as well…
Though it took me way more than 2 minutes…and I got lucky as heck a couple of times during the fight…LOL
The “trick” with this method is the sweet spot for the Lyuda…just as the bullet splits…
With a Bee and all the sniper perks it’s just MASSIVE damage on crits,
Course you have to keep the Bee up too and that can be virtually impossible at times.
Whenever I solo the ancient dragons I always use a shock storm front I simply spam 10 of them and then finidsh of the electric one

And you are using shock against the shock Dragon?
And I thought the Dragons had resistance to Grenades as well…
I tried Fastballs with a Grenadier Axton…with him decked out for his best grenade damage.
And matched Fastball type and Bone of Ancient Relic to Dragon weakness which is:
Healianith = Fire
Boost = Fire
Brood = Fire
Incinerator = Shock
And it was like hitting them with spit wads…tiny chunks of damage…sure…but 10 grenades took off 1/4 health…not good.
Can you describe your fight…how you do it in entirety?

Shock Storm Front i believe is a modded grenade.
Noper…it’s a VERY powerful shock grenade…one of my favorites!
But I just don’t see it working very well against a Dragon that is grenade resistant as well as shock resistant…
Especially at OP8 with 55% damage reduction built in.
But hey…I could be totally wrong.
What i mean is Storm Front cannot come in Shock prefix. If he has a “Shock Storm Front” it must be modded and must be the reason he killed the dragons with it.
Ahhhh…I see now.
This modded grenade is overly used on Pandora!
One time I was farming Pete and someone join and just toss a few of these grenades and Pete died instantly.
