This sounds like a bug that was in the Beta. (“Exploiting” as opposed to “Hacking”)
I thought they fixed it though…

Thanks for the report and the match ID! We’ll look into it.
That very possibly could be legit story episode gameplay with Kelvin, though. Kelving has an ability “Chomp” which adds permament stacks of health to him during a mission. If that player did that from the beginning of the match, by the time you were fighting the sentinels, it’s very possible had double or triple the health of other team members.
We’ll see how exploitative this gets, but generally, this is a part of what makes Kelvin special.

Well we were beating the crap out of them then all the sudden kelvin came running outand attacked our sentinals head on. Either way the only way I’ll be happy is if the people exploiting like that have their account wiped and start over. I’ve never seen anything that broken in a multi-player match ever
I’m aware of kelvins stacking chomp but he was unkillable at lvl 2. His health never dropped once. I can give u the name of the guy if u want.

The growth is much harder to pull off in multiplayer. We’re not seeing issues with it yet, except where it is paired with gear. We fixed some gear in Open Beat that caused a problem.

I do feel like a cap to this ability would be a wise change… I’ve run into unkillable Kelvin’s before in matches (like all 5 of my team mates focus him late game and he never loses a pip of health unkillable).

I’d just liek to comment that:
Its really amazing someone got footage of the exact game in question. It’s just really cool and lucky.
(the serious one) Lets maybe not hate on the guy doing it. The game just came out there could be any number of unknown bugs and he may not have been doing it intentionally. I know times in other games (I haven’t found any exploits yet, just Cheese like backdoor ISIC) where I have discovered something by happenstance playing the game. Really hard to tell in this case since there isn’t cross-team chat. He moves very slowly in that clip like he’s come full stop to chat to his team about it.
The dev feedback is awesome.

While I wouldn’t mind a cap on the ability, I don’t really think it’s that big of an issue.
If I understand/remember the issue correctly:
Some Kelvins can get their health regen/healing to go negative and pops around the other side and goes to basically infinity.
Or something like that…

This issue is related mostly to some specific gear which was fixed for Open Beta, but the fix was not properly migrated to our live servers.
As of yesterday, this should be fixed in the live game.
