This command line argument doesn’t work, which I assume is the reason for the mouse input lag.
Is this an accidental removal? I really hope so…

It was not an accident, it is gone forever, and it has zero to do with any and all input lag. There are many causes for input lag - mostly related to frame buffering vs system input messaging queues - and some of that code is going to get love before we’re done. But ‘hardwarecursor’ is gone for good.

Well, it does kinda have something to do with input lag. It separates rendering the cursor and rendering the scene.
So if you have a low end pc and you get low framerates during intense battles, your mouse would be unaffected. not so anymore…
