Considering your amazing at this, how about, kelvin, alani, ernest if defense egg was good too, reyna, and insert name here (your choice)
Kelvin is a disruptor/brawler. His job is to get into the fight, stun/slow everything, then start pounding away and comping low health enemies to kill them. He’s also a bit of a controller with his Ice Wall: he can block reinforcements, prevent enemies from running, or stun/damage them depending on how he places it.
Alani is an attacker and burst healer with CC abilities. Her job is to push the front line, heal when she’s able to, and prevent the enemy team from counter-attacking, much like OM. Like OM, she’s not a brawler and should never engage in 1v1 unless she knows she has the upper hand (low health enemy). But she’s great in 2v1 and 3v2 because she can stun/slow the enemy while her teammate finishes them off.
Ernest is mobile artillery and will always be such no matter which mode his egg is in. He’s like Benedict, except he can buff his teammates.
Reyna is true support: her job is to keep her teammates alive while making it easier for them to kill the enemy through her priority target. A Reyna without a teammate nearby is generally a dead one.

Great in depth information here, as for ernest, I think he is also a coordinator of sorts with his mines, and defensive mastermind (once his defense egg is better)

… best minion killer? He’s not bad, but are we playing the same game? Orendi: one skill at level 4 that can be spammed for dayyyys. Oscar Mike the noob clone: one shot at level 2 that instantly kills the entire wave. I don’t see how Whiskey Foxtrot so easily compares
Well I agree but hey, don’t criticize oscar mike, he is great for nooks, but surprisingly fun to play and good skill ceiling

As to my exaggeration of WF: Yes, i know there are better minion killing characters, and in my defense i said “ONE of, if not the best”. To be fair, i should have said: “He’s one of the best RANGED minion killers.”

Whiskey seems to be kind of like that badass that has been through it all and survived. His kit and personality kind of coalesce into this tacticianer/assassinish/survivalist badass who’s wallet clearly has the words bad and mother on it

As Whiskey Foxtrot is my favorite character and takes up at least 70% of my playtime I’d like to offer some input.
As some others have said, Whiskey’s lore and gameplay are that of a survivalist/guerilla fighter.
He CAN fight in an open battle, but why would he do that?
Whiskey Foxtrot is good at everything. Maybe not the best but he is capable of fulfilling several roles at once and because of his versatile kit he can force every engagement to go on his terms.
Your job at all times is to put the enemy team at a disadvantage.
Foxtrot knows what he’s doing. You aim for the head, you slow/disrupt priority targets/the enemy team., you make tanks $&*% themselves with damage output.
You don’t die because you have the upper-hand in fights or can create it very quickly.
Foxtrot has the Tactical Rifle. The very aptly named Tactical Rifle. It let’s him function at whatever range he wants as a primary weapon. He has more health than a squishy but has both sustained AND burst damage.
He can constantly fire.
Do you need someone to cover your back line? Foxtrot.
Watch the flank? Foxtrot.
Wave clear? Foxtrot.
Harass? Foxtrot?
Cc annoying characters? WTF.

kelvin is a more traditional tank, or I would describe him as such but I admittedly am ignorant when it comes to him.
Alani I would label as a combat medic from my experience, she;s in the thick of the fight and save the team mates asses to get them to the real doc’s(miko or supply station etc.)
ernest requires some examining how we use words, I would actually call him a support in multiple ways, he provides artillery support with his attack to pressure targets out of line or to suppress them. his egg provides infrastructure(defense, movespeed boost, improved attack power etc)
reyna is a field officer, prioritizing the immediate target that needs to go down.
think of it as war, reyna is the officer calling for an artillery strike on an enemy position. ernest is the mortar strike hitting them, Alani is the one on the front lines saving the team mates to go home.
and the other one i’ll mention is benedict, he’s the specialist. I dealt with them (and I was one sometimes) when I was in the service and I still find them annoying, he’s the guy who’d be busted down in rank if he was one iota less skilled and qualified than he was in his area of expertise.

Thanks, that was a good read, as for benedict, the devs described him as air support, softening up enemies for the team and killing them if not careful
