I spent 160,000 credits on loot packs and got nothing usable. All I wanted was a max roll purple needle with attack damage, but I didn’t get any purple needles at all. I did get a whole bunch of useless legendaries, though. Does anyone know what they are actually going to do to legendaries in the update? In the stream, they said that they were going to make them worthwhile, but they didn’t state how.

Yeah, they said that they would buff stats that weren’t very good for certain gear, along with changing the effects of some legendaries to make them more useful.

I think they also reworked most of the Lore Legendary as well to make them more appealing (I don’t know how though).

The specifics would have to wait till we get the Patch Notes (hopefully soon).

Which “useless” legendaries did you get by the way? Some are actually pretty damn good, most aren’t.

Opened about 500 faction packs myself. Managed to find the last 2 skins and taunts I was missing, as well as some legendaries I was missing (Comeback King, Culling Spike, Finiscian Wrench, Sustainment Well, Lenore’s Lament), and about 15 duplicates that were scrapped. Finally got Boots of the Brute and Doomsday Key to drop in PvE, which completed my boss drops. And lastly, I replaced a few boss drops I already had with some max roll versions (Oath of the Sustained, The Pacifier, Vibro-Core Module, Chrono Key, Premium Health Plan).

All in all, by far my best lootpocalypse and I’m glad I was able to complete my boss drops and skins/taunts. Now I’m just missing 7 legendaries total.

I really hope that they at least make all legendaries have the maximum stats! Nothing irks me more than that Bola’s with a lousy 7.75 skill damage.

I got a Finiscian Wrench, a low roll Dr. Fist’s, a low roll Executive Insurance Policy, another MR Synchro Link, and a De-Turtler. I might have gotten a couple of others that I already have, too. There are only five or so legendaries that I actually use. I might use a couple of more if they had max rolls, such as Bola’s, Symbiotic Gauntlet, and Vow of Vengeance.

I got a Comeback King just the other night and I can’t wait to try it out. Unfortunately, I’ve spent all my credits and need to start saving again now ready for Beatrix.

I tried Comeback King on Pendles, but it does not seem to do anything at all. I never saw anything happen, and I never noticed any additional damage occurring.

I plan to try it on Deande with calculated risk. Hopefully it’ll work. If not, I’ll just switch back to using Doomsday as I’ve had fairly successful results with that.

I’d love this too. Unfortunately gearbox might bee too ingrained with their Borderlands Legendary grind. Need perfect stats/parts? Yeah time to get farming bitch.

I totally feel that way about my Symbiotic Gauntlet and Bola’s Target Finder. I just can bring myself to spend 1800 shards on them when I have maximum purple items.

I spent over 100,000 credits on hundreds of Faction and Epic Packs. Closed the gap on completing my skin/taunt collection, gained quite a few legendaries. It was awesome. :tada:

I’d love it if we could see some stats for this Lootpocalypse. That stuff always interests me. Something like: credits spent, loot packs purchased (percentages by factions), legendaries dropped, etc. it would just be something to satisfy my curiosity, maybe in an infographic like they had after the Open Beta.

100 faction packs would be 190,000 credits. Just sayin’, and being a general pain in the ass. :wink:

Indeed. I started with 100,000 saved. But through playing and through the multitudes of coins I gained (1500 from spending 950 on one!), I ended up with definitely 100+. But this is what I mean! I’d love to see the real numbers for either individual packs purchased/credits spent, or global totals for all consoles combined.

I thought 1900 was the discounted price? I bought so damn many loot packs that it all kind of blurs together.

1900 is the default price. This lootpocalypse it was 950.

What he said. Trust me, if you have any idea of what you are doing (and the fact that you picked the comeback King for this tell me that you do) you will not be disappointed.

I was going to make a guide for it in the Deande section but I have other threads I’m working on and with the upcoming patch I think it better that I wait.

But in summary of all the prosfor using the gear:

-AOE triggers silent strike
-AOE has more range than damage wave
-AOE will sometimes kill enemies even on miss
-The minus to recharge delay gives you a comfortable length of time in cloak while shield recharges, enabling you to setup with the active Holotwin
-The added damage on the explosion is higher than a secondary of either skill damage or shield strength
