Whenever I think of mining I either think of the song “Hiegh Ho” (I hope I spelled that right) from Snow White or this place in TN called “Goats on the Roof” where they do gem mining.
I’m reminded of the backdrop to the story in October Sky (based on the book “Rocket Boys of Summer”). They had a few scenes down the mine; definitely would NOT want that job.
