Well, Mania gives you more survival chances. Shouldn’t make aa big difference in your leveling though.
The other option is to powerlevel.
Ask a mod, like derch said.
I would recommend aways going bloodlust for either gunplay or melee up to lvl30. With Bloodbath, Blood-filled Guns and Nervous Blood making weapons last though much more levels than they should while Taste of Blood and Blood Trance bringing some reliability to buzzaxe rampages before Release the Beast. My opinion is that Buzzaxe Rampage alone isn’t reliable enough without Release the Beast or Blood Trance.

Back on topic if you don’t want melee I would take feed the meat and then embrace the pain. After that go bloodlust until Bloodsplsion. Depending on your level cap go hellborn after that.

Bloodlust- Hellborn builds are pretty fun when running only weapon Ks.
Made a pistol focused build and went pretty nice.
I don’t mind going melee or hybrid build. I want a fun way to level up my Psycho!!
Oh you want fun than go full melee than get RtB don’t forget silence the voices just so you can get used to it.

You know guys. While leveling, I changed up my build to compliment my load out.
If you guys like a lot of variation, and feel comfortable with several different methods, you need not be loyal to a single method.

This is good advice.
If it’s your third or fourth character, and you kept some of the better gear to pass down, you can almost put points in whatever takes your fancy during normal. Respeccing for a more deliberate build at the start of TVHM is good, and it’s still relatively easy to switch your build focus without getting too disadvantaged (missions with a lot of flying enemies versus stalker city might require tweaks depending on gear though.) Getting through the first half of UVHM requires a bit more thought and research though!
In normal skills don’t really matter much but if I was you as soon as I hit lvl 31 I would respec and get release the beast. I can post a simply lvl 31 build if you want me to
