“Every game mode can be played either offline (solo) or online”
How exactly can I play offline? I turned my xb1 to offline and the game disc doesn’t even load.

Paging @JoeKGBX, because that’s obviously an error on the site.
The game cannot be played off-line, because you need a server connection to play any mission in any mode.
It SHOULD say, “Every game mode can be played either privately (solo or invited group) or publicly.”
ok, thank you. Ill shelf this game. don’t like the anxiety of playing a mission with the possibility of my net cutting out. Would have been fine if checkpoints were saved, that way you wouldn’t have to start the whole mission again.
It is an error because you can not get in the game unless your data loads from the meta data server.
cheers.
Is your internet connection really that bad? What kind of service are you on?
DLC missions (first one coming out in two days) have less length so it might not be that much of a problem. Give it a try, the game is great once you get the hang of it. There’s also an option to reconnect to your game if your connection dropped for a moment. Somehow it doesn’t work for me (I’m on PC, though), but people say they do this.
One of my Steam friends keeps having connection problems and does reconnect to our teams in PvE games.
You can reconnect to teams if that’s a problem for you. Just zip right back on with no progress lost. Simple and clean
its cool, on occasions cuts out for a second or two, so brosing is fine. cutting out even for a second while playing battleborn, 30mins into a mission, noooooooooooo! lol.
o yeah mask, I agree it is great, really fun, visually it looks amazing, gameplay is fast and fluid, on mission 3 now, solo up to this point on normal. I failed to protect something and mission failed, lol. Not quite sure why all the negative reviews and being labelled a fps flop.
Well, the game is complicated obviously. There goes about half the market (I wish I was kidding, but people don’t like to have to learn things). Then it had no marketing, so that cut it down. Then OW took a lot of its business by purposely trying to destroy it, and reviewers hopped on the bandwagon as well. Some people say they’re paid and the game critic business is corrupt, and while I don’t agree, everyone did jump on the BB bandwagon. Glad to have you join us! It’s really a great game
